I was wondering as far as all the bigger name male talent in the industry, such as peter north, brandon iron, rocco, ferrera, r. jeremy, etc. did to make it as big as they are in the industry. How did you start off and make your way to the top. Was it a long hard battle. Did you have to pay your dues so to speak. WHat would you tell other aspiring men who are interested in the industry. Is the life as great is its cracked up to be, or is there alot of behind the curtain stuff people dont know about. Just wondering..

Interesting question.

And my assumption would be word of mouth and being a good performer. I can only speak for Manuel, because when I started watching he wasn't around and then all of a sudden he was everywhere. As for the 'Is the life as great is its cracked up to be', Manuel and Steve both often say they have the best job in the world (as do many of the other male performers.

I think there's a whole lot of luck and who you know as far as getting into the industry goes for the male talent.
There are also many guys that get a chance because they ride in with their hot girlfriends as part of the package.

That said, the guys that make it to the top have done so entirely on talent and ability!
They have great cocks, perform well and are able to do so reliably day after day... scene after scene... cumshot after cumshot.

We don't give enough credit to the studs, IMHO, because of all the homophobic "it's all about the girl" posturing. A great cock adds immeasurably to my enjoyment of better quality of porn.

Peter North just has it all... I'm not too familiar with other male pornstars, but in the case of mr. North it's no surprise at all that he's become so famous. Body, looks, look of penis, size, amount of cum, force of ejaculation etc. But I bet you even those who are blessed with all of that still have had to work hard over the years. interesting...yea Im sure peter north worked pretty hard to get where he is right now, I think he started off as Ramsey something way back when...

I would be interested to hear any other male performers tell their stories ala Brandon Iron or some of the others who post here

You might find this interview with Erik Everhard interesting. Even if you are good enough, the hardest part is getting producers to give you a chance becuause it costs them time and money. Erik was sending people tapes but mostly getting ignored, Jules Jordan on the east coast then, was one of the few people hiring him. He's come along way since then.
