I'm kind of out of the loop but it seems like a lot of performers are leaving Manyvids. From what I understand it's because of something that the owner said? A lot of them have stopped and moved to other platforms. I only like Manyvids so this sucks for me I don't really trust these other sites they are moving too.
^ lance; Bella (the owner) seems to be having a crisis of conscience of late and has publicly discussed her desire to see as many performers/creators as possible transition AWAY from the sex work/hardcore side of content creation in-lieu of creating SFW in its place where possible. Many performers/creators took offense to this (Lord knows why? ~O_o~) and feel Bella is committing some form of platform betrayal, which is utter hogwash. It's her f*cking platform and she can run it into the ground if she feels like it.
MV has fallen off a cliff for me, personally, before this outward expression/shift in focus from Bella, but I'm sure the traffic and algorhithms she wanted to change were already in effect before her public missive about all of this went out.
Now as far as performers leaving: well, why go through the trouble to make a statement by 'leaving' when you can just keep your store in place and let it die on the vine. I feel it's mostly because the new-age content creators are VERY entitled, and feel these platforms owe them something other than a place for them to have global distro and access to paying fans.
There's a lot of things wrong with XXX these days(imo), hence why I stopped participating for the most part and have little desire to rejoin the mix in its current (shambled) state. Would a return to performing help me financially? Of course... But it would also be a big headache to chase new performers down that don't know or care who I am/was that insist on the new testing protocols (M-gen/swabs) of which I'm not ok with on multiple levels, so instead of bickering with brickwalls to get laid on camera, I just stopped all together.

Yeah, people who don't want to get tested should definitely not be shooting, and that's not really germane to the topic. As far as the exodus, that company face/site owner is talking as if she wants to get in the way of performers doing what they do someday, if not soon. I think it makes sense for performers to stop doing things that make her money. That said, these platforms they are going to after leaving manyvids have horrible search functionality and bad overall functional design.
As far as some of them complaining that a platform that runs hosting and payments for them is charging them money to do those things, that's just not very bright people being not very bright, and that's not the whole bunch of them. I do know that manyvids charges 40% of the ticket price. Is that too much? I don't know, but its not like access to hosting, payments, and a customer base is going to come cheaply.
Overall, I am increasingly done with porn, anyway. I do look at manyvids every other day, and most of the shit on there, much like the studio industry is just dumb memes.
Like, at this point, the bans that the local and world governments are putting in place aren't even going to affect me because there is so little to buy, even on the by-far most functional clip site, Manyvids.
Example: On "Fansly" I interact with nothing but GG and occasion solo female content and yet, 9 times out of 10, the sites algorithm will show me dick first thing lmao. These sites are going to cost the poor girls money just on the strength of how annoying the sites are.

Who is misbehaving? Are you implying, me? That's pretty rich if that's the case...I started performing in 04' and have been involved in ZERO scandals or 'misbehavior' in re to my performing career. But then how would you know that, right? You're just making assumptions from the sidelines. Yikes...
I've tried to browse a bit there from time to time, especially as creators can offer sales now. Unfortunately while browsing page loads slow down and my computer practically freezes. Other clip sites don't do this to my PC.
