Haven't ordered but a few guys from ADT have (from US) without problems, I think shipping costs are reasonable, I'll let you know as I'm going to place a couple or orders (although I am in Australia now, this will give you an indication, shipping within the EU will be cheaper).
By the way 40 Euros is the normal retail price for a Dorcel DVD and most DVDs in France, how much is say a new release Videorama DVD in Germany?

40 Euros is a rather standard price, Erodvd used to have some Dorcel DVDs at around 30 Euros but they had a very limited selection, otherwise Cyberdvdx is the only site I know with a large selection of Dorcel titles at 29 Euros each, still this Dorcelshop offer at 40 Euros for two titles is a very good buy, note that some DVDs on the Dorcelshop website are 29.95 Euros so you can get a couple of DVDs for 30 Euros, not a bad deal...

Just checked erodvd.nl they have a larger selection now, priced at 29.95 Euros including postage, the selection is much more extensive on the Dorcelshop website though...
once again i'm talking about dorcelshop, and the webmaster think i work for them. But i live in france, and i just buy Hustler and Dorcel DVD that's why i know this shop :-)
If you just see the price on the website, Dorcelshop seems to be expensive.
BUT, you have to read between the lines to see it's one of the cheaper one, if you buy more than one DVD.
first of all you have a large selection of 29;95 DVD, and until junuary 5th, Hustler movie for 15 euros
During the regular period, if you buy one DVD, you receive another DVD for free. But you can't choose it. It's always a Dorcel DVD, so the free dvd = 29,95. So EACH TIME it's 2 for One. This free dvd change each week
If you buy 3 dvd you can choose a free dvd, and you'll receive the gift too. So it's 5 for 3
AND for christmas, (until junuary 5th), you buy one and you can choose 1 for free. So if you buy 5 you can choose 5..
it's a fantastic discount..
i just want to explain my experience.. i stop.. and i try to post for another shop :-))
Hustlerfan is correct in saying this is an extremely good offer. I've just ordered "Constat d'adultere" and "L'indécente aux enfers" for a total of 39.95 euros plus 10 euros shipping to the UK. Plus I am apparently getting a free copy of "La Nympho", normally 29.95, hopefully it will be worth more than I'm paying for it!
Can anybody recommend some "must have" Dorcel titles, I already have "La parfum de Mathilde" and "Journal d'une infirmière".

It all depends, some are high quality, high budget productions, some are outsourced abroad (America, Spain, Italy, Germany...).
Most of the French productions "true Marc Dorcel" are really classy and worth owning on the merit of the movie alone, extras are generally not that great there is a "Sex Reportage" (Sex Report) same one on many DVDs plus bios for the actresses, etc...
If you are looking for value they sometimes offer two movies on one DVD but those are not in house Dorcel products, but fine European or US productions.
I strongly recommend everything directed by Michel Ricaud a legendary French porn director (now deceased), although the video quality can be poor (old movies). I've got "Les putes de l'autoroute" (whores of the highway) directed by Ricaud and it's really great.
Another very gifted French director (the best IMVHO) who has done many movies for Dorcel is John B Root, you can't go wrong with his DVDs, the man is a GENIUS!!!
Not seen either of those Frigo , so I'm no help to you there . If you search for the *keyword* dorcel in reviews you'll get about 44 or so to choose from . Ayb's reviewed the most , though Hardware's certainly catching him up . For my own opinion ( from what I've seen ) I'd recommend Alexia et Cie ( Dirty Deals ) . It features the incomparable Laura Angel looking more like Sophia Loren than this guy'd ever though possible . Also the extras are none too shabby . There's a making of which lasts for some time . Seriously , I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't seen this - it's that good !
PS : I've not worked out the maths of it yet , but AdultDVDx.com are offering 30 euros off if you buy 4 Dorcels or more .

Yes some Hustler DVDs are 15 Euros only! I'll have to double check but if the deal apply to those a well it means you get TWO Hustler DVDs (from a selection of titles) for only 15 Euros.
I think we'll have to act fast, deals ends on January 5...
I've just had the first of my orders delivered by courier today (monday) it was despatched last thursday, quite impressive service once they actually got around to sending it.
Very securely packaged in cardboard with plastic ties around. However I was not impressed with the plastic envelope stuck to the back with clearly visible documents emblazoned with "Marc Dorcel" complete with logo!
Dorcel titles received today courtesy of FedEx - ordered on 5th. Not opened and no customs charges. Very well packed and no 'Marc Dorcel' labels visible. Three titles for 49 euros inc postage is fantatic value especially from the sterling area. I would certainly order direct from them again.
I had another two of my orders arrive this morning. Both parcels had clear plastic envelopes stuck to the back of them through which you could clearly read an invoice from Marc Dorcel detailing exactly what I had bought.
Clearly this not an outfit to deal with if you value discretion!
I shall be e-mailing them with my comments but has anyone else had the same experience?

Mine was a rather large cardboard box, with a clear plastic pocket on the outside, within this clear plastic pocket was the invoice but it was folded, so the invoice was not readable plus many transit stickers on the outside plastic pocket masked it anyway. They probably forgot to fold your invoice?
I understand your complaint better now that you say the invoice was detailed and readable, the MARC DORCEL logo itself is no big deal, who knows who they are anyway outside porn afficionados, even in France I guess the name doesn't register with many people...
By all means let them know what you think, I think they care enough about customer service (and keeping you as a customer) to do something about this, or if they have a good reason (can't see any but who knows???) to package their goods this way, to explain it.
I e-mailed a couple of days ago but as yet no reply. Admittedly I chickened out of attempting to write in french which I suspect would get faster attention!
