Hi guys! Did anyone attend the LA Expo? Just wondered what you thought.

I'll be going this Sunday night to the NYC one...can't wait! I'll have my camera in hand and will try and post some pics after.

I was so looking forward to this years Gay Erotic Expo after attending last years I could only hope that it would be bigger and better. Boy, what a letdown! The emcee's were horrible, the jet set boys got up only to be clothed, they did take their shirts off after a bit of coaxing, but come on! Some vendors weren't there and if I had some art in the art "exhibit" area I would have been embarassed at how shabbily it was thrown together! The Copa was a great venue and I applaud the porn stars that were in attendance but I hope the "limp" production values and the half-assed way it was run doesn't scare them away from the next one! Someone should get their act together!

I'll try and get some pics online in the near future. I did get to see from Jet Set Seth Hollister, Lorenzo Vargs, Tag Eriksson and Connor Banks! They were there promoting "The Hole". They were all adorable!


Also in attendance were Michael Lucas, Chad Hunt (he's looking better these days!) and his two newest discoveries, Wilson Vasquez (yum!) and Rob Ramos (more yum!), both from the recent Fire Island Cruising 5 & 6 shoot .

Rod Barry Representing the Forest Men empire, and Michael Brandon and Brett Wolfe.

Finally, as me and my friends were walking out lo and behold Jai from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was walking in! I approached him and got a pic with him and he seemed pretty nice. That was kind of cool.

Overall I still like the event but its the production and entertainment that really needs to be worked out. We'll see what happens next year!

Actually everyone seemed rather friendly, including Michael and especially his new star Wilson Vasquez. The Jet Set crew were pretty chatty and didn't seem to mind being ogled and having their photos taken. Its just too bad the emcees for the night and some other minor production faux pas's made it a bit disenchanting.
