As maybe a useful adjunct to the current thread on Max's return to the business using a strap-on (horrendous!) there are many who probably know very little about this guy because he's been out of the business for so long - and his latest stuff isn't really representative of his earlier stuff. He became a legend for all sorts of reasons, but he's faded from the collective memory to a large extent and maybe his reputation is based more on hearsay than hard fact. I must admit that my own knowledge is limited - I've heard a lot, but what's true and what's not isn't clear. I thought maybe a thread allowing members to post what they saw as his very best scenes, and his very worst scenes might be helpful - I suppose how you view 'best' and how you view 'worst' depends on your viewpoint.

My personal favorites were when he "attacked" the MILF's/ Angry Moms Max Extreme 1- Candy Hill, Raquel Devine Max Extreme 2- Raquel Devine Max Faktor 17- Ginger Lea Least favorites were the ones where they say they were 12 and a half years old for obvious reasons. Interesting thread... One of my all-time favourite Max scenes was with Tammi Ann in Hitchhiker 1. That was the first time I had scene Tammi and it was love at first sight. That may have also been my first Max movie too. Tammi looked amazing in that scene in her tight cut-off shorts and roller skates. Other favourites are the couple of scenes that Courtney Simpson did with Max. I recall that as her career progressed she even denied having done anal when the proof was right there. I'm not aware of more than one airplane bathroom scene - that's the one with Summer Luv. My take is different from Luke Lake's - I love that scene! The Summer Luv helicopter scene is in the same movie (I think) and is also a favourite.

I often wondered why Bonnie changed her mind about the scene with Max. I'm assuming that since she did it early in her career that maybe she figured it lessened her chances of becoming a big star if she was associated with Max. Honestly, I think Bonnie would have achieved her level of stardom with the Max scene on her resume.

Agreed! Esspecially for the type of work she does. I mean, she said she wanted to be more nasty than Belladonna when she first got into the biz, so I'd say working with Max was a pretty damn good place to start. lol
Never really clear, to me at anyrate, what exactly it was about his stuff that got him imprisoned. Was it the girls saying that they were younger than they actually were, or was it the pissing and vomiting? Or was it the way the girls were treated? I'm no lawyer but you can imagine questions being asked as to whether they all gave full consent to what actually happened during filming when you see how they reacted to what he was doing to them. The looks of shock and horror on some of those faces doesn't look faked. Gargling piss doesn't in itself cause someone to vomit, but swallowing it usually will, and maybe that was all part of the game to get them vomiting. Quite how he decided that watching girls piss and vomit was going to be a winner (if it was a winner, financially) God knows, but he certainly put a lot of effort into it. ^ My recollection, which ain't what it used to be, is that it was a reaction to his portrayal of the models in several of the scenes as being underage. It wasn't the clothing or the accessories because anyone of any age could wear that, but in at least one scene the model said "But Mister, I'm only twelve years old!" It may not be a Max-produced movie. It may be from his earliest days when he was the male talent in other productions. I looked through my Max collection and can't find any scene that fits your description. I then looked for Max and Candy pairings on IAFD and there were a few of them (as expected) but none of the descriptions matched the scene you mention. The worse news is that almost none of Max's listings at IAFD give sources where the DVD is available as a DVD or for streaming/download so you may be out of luck anyway.

He certainly is polarizing, but I notice soooooo many producers/directors have adopted his schtick in a slightly upscale fashion. With the exception of those gagging films, most of these don't receive the negative attention he got ostensibly for doing it first? The "underage" genre with really young looking girls seems to be the thing these days. I miss the curvy girls of all races!

I don't remember Missy Misfit. When I think of Max the girls who come to mind are China Doll, Catalina, and Layla Rivera. I seem to remember Jade Marcella or Lyla Lei in an interview commenting on the fact that he was more than standard level kinky as opposed to being "better" or "worse" than his contemporary producer/directors in porn. Truthfully, people were so up in arms about the guy when he was being prosecuted it was as if they had never seen German porn which is where 90% of his "bit" came from. They were doing that well before he became "Max Steiner" became "Max Hardcore" in the mid-late 1990s and early 00's before the jail time.
I'm not that big a fan of most of Max's stuff. I'll watch his stuff if it has girls I like...like Queeny Love or Allysin Embers or girls with some curves that don't look so young. But even then I'm not into some of the stuff he does like making the girls vomit or stopping in the middle of a scene to humiliate the girls with messing up their faces/vaginas with lipstick or using those devices on the girls. I'll never understand the appeal of doing that (actually I know why he does it, I just can't understand why others like seeing it). But the point I'd like to make that a "goodlooking" version of Max probably wouldn't have the same appeal. I tend to think part of Max's popularity was that he was this creepy old dude doing things to these girls. If the guy is good looking it changes the whole dynamic. Or am I reading too much into that? Or for his audience or the audience for that type of porn how the guy looks doesn't matter?
I've seen a couple of the Missy Misfit scenes. I have no idea how much time passed between her scenes but the fact that she shot with Max at least three different times may be a clue as to how bad it was for her. If she came back to shoot for him several times perhaps it wasn't so bad as to make her leave the business. She also shot for another studio that was far more tame than Max. Maybe it was a horrible experience for her but it does seem odd she agreed to come back..unless she had a sleazy agent that made her do so. Or maybe it started out being not so bad and progressively worse with each shoot. We'll probably never find out. There are plenty of horror stories about working with Max from what I understand but then there are girls who shot for him multiple times. I have no idea how much actual acting was involved with some of those scenes vs the girls really not knowing what exactly was going to happen and was forced to do things they didn't expect. Kinda creepy and not cool at all. But I think that's what Max's fans wanted from him. And to be honest, if max didn't have this gimmick to fall back on he would never have made it for long as a "regular" pornstar.

I can't imagine any of them who got the later day Max schtick were thrilled with the experience. I don't care what anyone says but chocking and/or vomiting is never ever pleasant and that was too often a major part of his videos. The fact that more than one performer came back does not mean that they were looking forward to the experience. I can only hope that the money they were offered was simply too high to refuse.
I think you don't give Max enough credit because the man started appearing in porn in the early 90's and back then he didn't do all the misogynistic crap that became his trademark. There's a 1995 Max movie called "Max 7: French Kiss." Unfortunately, it isn't listed as being available for viewing/buying at IAFD.

I think you're out of luck with finding those scenes. IAFD is usually good at listing where movies or scenes are available and they list nothing for either of the scenes you're asking about. Further, I suspect that if any site had those scenes, they'd be the edited ones for the US market and not the "full" versions that were released in Europe. Bang.com does have some some Max Hardcore scenes, but these are all the American versions. It may be worth your while to have a look though.
I do think you're out of luck though. These movies were shot a long time ago and have likely faded into oblivion. Add to that the fact that Max was convicted of obscenity and the US federal government seized his site. That might make other sites wary of making his stuff available. I'm guessing that if these scenes exist anywhere, you're more apt to find the edited versions too.
One last thing, and this isn't an accusation - ADT is a forum for porn buyers and subscribers. No one here will give you information on where to find these scenes on tube sites and if anyone posts information like that it will be removed and the person who posts it could be kicked out.
