Jeez, I am amazed how a few established porn stars have gone BACK to May for a second or third shoot, Courtney Simpson coames to mind, who certainly has other options.
How much does he pay? Is it some multiple of other shoots?

Enough is actually a correct answer. If you read this board at all you probably know that pay rates are rarely if ever discussed honestly and frankly.

Not regarding Max. I searched through his posts as well as those about him. All I could find is that it is generally accepted that he pays a bit more then other people but nothing as specific as actual pay rates being quoted. Of course I could have missed something in my search.
And certainly nothing like "A max scene is worth 1.5 times an Ed Powers scene and 3 times as much as a *fill in the blank* scene".

I personally don't think Max could afford to pay enough to get girls who really didn't want to work for him to do it. Even if he paid twice or three times as much as other producers, it wouldn't be that difficult for a girl who has decent marketability to make that working for other people.
Any girl who's getting regular work doesn't have to work for Max if she doesn't want to. My theory has always been that there are three basic kinds of girls who work with Max.
1. Girls who are trying to break into the business and Max is the only one who will give them a shot.
2. Girls who want to work with Max.
3. Girls who just don't care and will work for anybody.
Of the three, the first kind are the only ones I really feel bad for. The other 2 know what they're doing and they don't need (And probably don't want) anyone to feel sorry for them.

I have read here that Ed Powers pays big money to agents to have "first crack" at new girls just entering the adult world. I have read the same about Max. Never any specific numbers though.

Well, yes. But Ed probably wants the really hot ones. I've noticed that some of the girls Max has shot weren't what would be considered "really hot" in the business. Max likes the really skinny girls with small tits. The skinnier, the better, it seems. Generally, it seems other producers are looking for girls with big tits (fake or not). Max might be the only chance some of these girls have to get in. Plus, he has more name recognition these days than Ed.

Agreed. I don't have much else to say as I am not really a big fan of Max (or Ed). Though to add to what you said, I have no problems with really skinny girls, it's the make up that women wear in Max movies that I can't stand.

My problem with Max is that he just doesn't have any respect for limits. The whole pedo thing is sickening and makes a lot of people mad at the whole industry. I don't have a problem with the skinny girls either, although I like thick girls better.
But the biggest problem with Max is that he does the same shit over and over and over. If I never hear "Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaa Thaaaaaaat'a it!" again, it'll be too soon.

you have this in the wrong order. i'm fairly sure that courtney's first two scenes ever were with max (maybe she did some smaller stuff? soft core?). after that she refused to work with him or do anal. then she became established.
as far as $$$ is concerned, it would have to be more than normal, but not too much more. the newbies he casts are either naive or desperate or both. the established people who work with him do it for the challenge.

It's obvious that nobody will know precisely, except Max and the girls and their agents.
You can do a search of this forum and find some "going rate" numbers. (I used search phrase "pay rates".) I found ~ $1K-$2K for anal scene. It's safe to assume that Max's action is on the "hard" end of the scale, so add another $500 just for the heck of it. If we assume Max doubles the going rate, that would be 2 x $2.5K = $5K. If we assume Max triples the going rate, that would be 3 x $2.5K = $7.5K. It's not rocket science.

Hmm, from what Ive heard here in Europe, he isnt paying much more. At least not in his european productions.
But Ive got an idea, why arent we collecting $ for Max Hardcore ( his nickname in Germany is "Mäxchen" ), so that he can stop producing this crap. We collect $ and hire him for other movie projects, outside of porn. Some ideas ?
