Does anyone know why XRentDVD doesn't carry Max Hardcore new releases? In my opinion, they are the best online rental spot out there, although they have one glaring omission. That is Mr. Hardcore. About six months ago they had a couple of his new releases (Universal Max 1 and Max Does the Stars). I wrote them emails thanking them for finally seeing the light. After those two titles, nothing.
Are there still legal issues over carrying Max. I don't see how his movies are any more controversial than Khan Tusion's lines on JM Productions, which they carry. Maybe Max can answer this question. I think it would be good business for both you and XRentDVD to carry your new titles.
I have no idea why these guys are not carrying my movies, nor do I care. I'm releasing my movies, and offering them in the Euro versions, in the DVD, Streaming, and Downloading format at www.JadedVideo.com, and also www.OCXVideo.com.
I'm not out to have the widest distribution. Never was. I am out to make the hardest movies in my genre. My movies are years ahead of the pack and just keep on selling.
Thanks for your reply Max. I can't believe this company doesn't carry your new stuff. Your older movies that are in my queue are always out, so there's a hell of a demand for them. I thought supply and demand were the basis of business. I guess XRentDVD doesn't agree in this case. I've sent them many emails over the last two years, trying to get them to carry your new releases, and I've never gotten a personal reply.
Keep making great porn Max, and I guess I'll just have to buy them when I can.
They don't sound too good to me. How many fucking emails do they get? Customer satisfaction is number one in business. You always get a prompt answer over at my site whether you email me, support, or post on my messageboard.
Max, first off thank you for personally addressing the concerns regarding your products. But you are misguided about XRentDVD my friend. They are one of the best adult mailorder companies in operation today, both in terms of rental and sales. They have many loyal customers here at ADT who can easily vouch for their great service, myself included. Now, I admit is is a shame they don't carry more of your products but I'm sure they do have their reasons. Hell, I wish I could get your Anal Adventures and Cherry Poppers series all remastered on DVD but that ain't ever gonna happen, right?
Max, I've joined your site several times, and your customer support is definitely a cut above. Jaded Video on the other hand is a different story. Twice I've ordered your Euro versions to download on my computer. Both times the movies stopped halfway through watching them. When I contacted Jaded Video regarding this problem, they sent me a coupon (this took 3 days in one instance). After using the coupon, the movie stopped in the same place. When I contacted Jaded, there was no reply. I would like to see your Euro versions, but never again from Jaded Video.
Asmodeus, I would also love to see the Anal Adventures and Cherry Poppers series on DVD. The scenes Max did with Vanessa Chase and Tiffany Mynx are some of the hottest ever. Will these movies ever come out Max?
I agree with you about the Downloads at Jaded. They're having way to many teething problems with their new delivery system, but I'm sure they will work it out. We are even encoding the movies for them to make sure they work. I've gotten several emails from members, and have really been kicking ass over there.
As for the older Cherry Popper and Anal Adventures movies, I have all the camera tapes and chromes, and am putting them up on my website. They are way better than the originals VHS releases, because we're re-editing and re-mastering them for the digital age from the camera tapes. Just put up a classic with Tammi Ann on my site. We'll be putting them all out on DVD as well, in their Euro versions, which I could never release at the time.
green-toke, I've checked out SugarDVD, and they carry all of Max's new releases. Thanks for the heads up. I've just signed up for their free trial, and if all goes well, I think my XRentDVD membership will be dust. By doing some reading on this forum, it sounds like SugarDVD is becoming the better online rental place anyway. The one thing they don't have much of is bondage movies, but if they listen to their customers (unlike XRent), maybe that will change.
Max, I checked out the Tammi Ann clip, and that brings back good memories. What a hot little thing. If you're going to release your older catalog, will you be adding the dialogue you used to cut out of them? Was this due to your legal issues at the time? I think one of the hottest aspects of your movies, is the degrading dialogue. With those older titles, I remember half the scenes sometimes had no sound. Please restore those uncut scenes.
Yes, I'll be keeping in all the good dialogue, fist fucking, and all the good shit that I couldn't put out at the time. I have the camera masters of all the great scenes going back to the beginning. We are remastering and re-editing them all, with the new digital gear. They look and sound better than they originally did. Next up, Tami Monroe, in her only anal scene. Remember her? She was pretty big in her day.
What are the chances of you releasing some of the titles from the Maximum Excursion series on DVD? Max 9 with Barbie Angel and Cinderella, Max 16 with Dalny, and Max 19 with Phyllisha Anne are some of my all-time favorite scenes. Not to mention Max 7 with Sydney. Maxed Out 6 with Phyllisha Anne and some other girl was also one of your better scenes from those days.
