I just caught up to Melody's role-play with Juan El Caballo Loco. It's a couple years old, but it's really a notable scene. It sets up as the usual stepsister mentoring her dorky stepbrother for his prom night.
Where is stands out is the acting of Melody and Juan. She's very good as the confident and in control stepsister. Juan is perfect as the dorky, inexperienced stepbrother. I start by saying that I am Spanish speaking and in the communities I frequent, I usually hear the general opinion that Melody has "wasted the best years of her career" because of the whole issue of her self-representation until 2023 and that "her teen star is is turning off." The rates between newcomers and established girls, are not that different that it would deter productions who want her look and cachet. Melody's problem is she can be incredibly difficult to work with from a scheduling point of view. She's very picky of her productions and doesn't like long shoots
