Close enough, in fact, that bad male talent can ruin a scene. What's interesting to me is that I see the availability of strong male talent as kind of limiting the growth of the industry. There are only so many solid dicks available, and those dicks can only ejaculate a limited number of times per day. The women are tops in terms of looks and are brought out in the scene by Rocco's presents. Now that he is directing; you see it in the ploy scenes and specific conduct that is in his head. It is pretty extreme. Conversely, you can have a "hot" woman with bad directing, camera work and it is dull and not lively; that is boring. In summary, if there is the right actors on both sides; along with a passion director; it is a very decent video. I think the director really is the main person that makes or breaks the production; not the performers so much; althorough they have to work together with chemistry. [Link]

Sure, the male performers are important, but I think a lot of times people don't consider the influence that the people behind the camera and in the edit bay have. Consider the difference between a scene with Rocco in a Vivid feature and a scene with Rocco in an Evil Angel movie. I'm not saying either are better, I'm just saying there is a difference, even if they have the same guy. So unless a particular male has ruined a scene for a viewer in several different movies from different directors and studios, I've always thought vows to never watch a scene with male X in it because once male X totally ruined a scene for that viewer by doing Y could be blaming the wrong person. Maybe male X really isn't into Y, but the director gave them the choice of either doing Y or not working that day. [Link]
