I somewhat successfully have tried shaving,and the only way I found I could do it is by laying down in a bathtub and doing it. That way all the hair is in one spot and all I have to do is wash down the drain. Has anyone found a better way of doing this? BTW-- I used a bumpfighter razor-- which took about 2 hours-- way too long. Can anyone recommend a better shaver/razor also?
I always figured no hair was better than hair as far as what females (in general) may like. Plus, it can help out with making the penis look bigger, and better provided sensation (maybe). lol

Nothing will make your penis look bigger except a bigger penis. Personally, I don't mind pubic hair on men. I don't really have an opinion about pubic hair on women. But no matter who it's on, trimming and good hygiene are always appreciated. If you have to shave start by trimming the hair as short as possible. Use a good gel or shave cream and ALWAYS use a new razor. Pull the skin taught wherever you need to and use short strokes with the razor rinsing often in hot water. Once you've gotten smooth, use a little cocoa butter or just a very very light dusting of talc. This keeps the friction from your newly shaven balls from rubbing you raw.
Ok. So wet IS the way to go. Thanks for the tips. I didn't think about holding myself taut or the new razor thing. I may just break down and buy myself something almost like a straight razor. Would make the process much faster. Better than the last time where I had to keep going over and over again on the same spots. Kind of sucked after a while. Ditto with the rubbing alcohol used later on.
+1......shaving for guys is WAY too much maintenance. I think it's different for females because all the skin is pretty smooth down there....not so for guys, particularly your sack. Even your shaft is only smooth when erect or pulled tight. Trimming seems to be a nice compromise between the bald look (not all the ladies like it!) and the overgrown jungle (few seem to like this).

No straight razor. Unless you want to castrate yourself. Get something that's at least a double blade. And also, I hate to say this, but women's razors are superior to men's for shaving genitalia. That being said, I reccommend Venus disposable razors and CO Bigelow (from the men's section at Bath & Body Works) or Coochie shave creams. You're going to have to go over it again and again the first couple times you shave. And alcohol? Are you serious? No offense but.....did you eat paint chips when you were a kid?
I shave in the shower with only water and a Mach 3 razor. The stubble "issue" is resolved with time. I get no irritation on my balls and the base of my cock. I've been shaving for years now. No itch or nothin'.
I never could figure out how to shave my penis but I've shaved my balls and asscrack before. The first time I did it was when I was in my teens. I thought I was gonna die when it started growing back. Seems like now I can do it and it doesn't bother me as much when it grows back. ^ Try Veet instead of Nair. It's thicker and stays put a little better. And I know I've mentioned this in another thread somewhere......make sure you test a little spot on your leg or arm first to make sure it's not going to break you out AND DO NOT- I repeat-DO NOT go over the reccommended maximum time. Mach3 and foam for the balls and shaft and the inside of the crack. I don't get any rash or cuts from it. Very quick and easy (and I have thick and dense hair). I've been shaving my cock up to the base and my sack for quite some time. Mach 3 and a foamy gel works for me. It has become a part of my ritual when I shave my face I also lather up by pubs and shave them after my face. I will admit the first few times it itched like hell, but after awhile the rash will disappear. Two reason why I shave, one is wifey it much happier when giving head and also loves to lick my balls. The second reason is when riding long distances like centuries on my bike, I find there is less chance of chaffing or irritations while wearing padded bike shorts. I also learned trick from an old girlfriend. I always wondered why her bush hair was so soft and not curly like the other girls I had been with. It never dawned on me until one morning we were taking a shower together and after shampooing her hair, she applied a creme conditioner to her bush. Since then, I started to do the same and what hair I have remaining down there is soft and much easier to shave. During bike season I also shave my legs (no I am not a cross dresser). If you ride hard (especially mtn biking) invariably you are going to take a digger. It is much easier to deal with road rashes, cuts, and bruises it you don't have hair on your legs. Ever try to get band aids to stick to hairy legs or worse take them off? Not good!
You will also need a shaving brush for that tube of CO Bigelow. You place a almond-sized dollop in a mug and go to town with a soaked and lightly shaken shaving brush. After making lather apply with brush. A tube of shaving cream will last about a year if all you are doing is shaving the ball sack once a week with it. I don't shave my pubes but I do use traditional shaving soap and cream to shave my face with (I know, I am old). I shave with a Gillette-type double-edge safety razor (I actually have about ten of them) and blade but would not suggest that for shaving pubes. You could try Badger & Blade forum (www.badgerandblade.com) for tips about facial shaving if you were to go that route but that crowd is pretty conservative so I would not suggest asking about shaving below the belt there. DO NOT USE A STRAIGHT RAZOR FOR YOUR BALL SACK!!!!!!!!! You will cut your dick and/or balls off if you try that route.

I clean shave about twice a week, maybe more if I have time (can be bothered). I use an electric shaver for my pubes, between dick and belly button I guess, number 2, I've razored them twice, looked Ok for about 1 day, then it itched like a fucker, I prefer some hair there. I dry shave below and my face. Not same blade at same time mind you. Have to shave face every day for work. I'll skip days when I'm off on the weekend and when I skip a day I'll have to use shaving cream at that point.
I use a brand new razor a gillette fusion x and use plenty of shaving gel and i stand in front of the bathroom mirror.If you have never shaved before i think you should try and trim down your pubic hair with scissors if it is really wild that is.Get it as short as possible then wet the pubic area then lather up with shaving gel and simply take your time,i do not dry shave i simply add more gel and keep rinsing the blade out. Treat your balls etc the way you would with a really sensitive area on your face..patience and a steady hand and you will get great results,the balls can be tricky and you will have to lift them up manipulate them into position etc to manage to shave them nice and smooth.You will be really nervous the first time but the more you do it the better you will become at it,i now shave once a week and it's the best thing i ever did i really wish i had done it a long time ago. It is not very difficult and it gets easier the more times that you do it. Shaving cream around the cock. Shave that off until it is smooth. I do not put shaving cream on the balls because they get too slick to handle. I go with water only and the razor. I have been doing it since 2003. During a routine physical about six months ago the doctor discovered that I had come down with low grade Staph infection in my bladder. With the use of antibiotics, the infection was cleared up. I had no idea how I could have contracted and it was not transmittable. Don't use a new razor. Don't shave over the same area more than twice, wait at least two days if you didn't get it all (and probably even longer if you did cut yourself).
I usually trim the top of my cock...along my pubic bone area with a beard trimmer...I usually trim it really short and do a" landing strip" that is the width of my shaft. I also occassionally trim it to look like a triangle with the wide est part being the width of my shaft and tapering up to a point about 3 inches above my shaft. I use a disposable razor to shave my balls totally smooth and I take my time pulling my ballsack skin tight to get a close shave. I then pull my sack up with one hand and shave behind my balls...I do this while sitting down.
