Disagee here. MOST women do NOT do nasty shit in the bedroom. If they did, it is likely that porn would not be so popular, because the fantasy would be reality for a majority of people. My wife is crazy in the bedroom, but she's told me that the majority of women she knows would faint before they did a lot of what she will do. In fact she thinks that the vast majority of women are prudes. One of the attractions of porn is that you get to see something that's not likely to happen to you in your everyday life. We used to spend a lot of time with various swing groups, and you would be surprised how many women in those groups are only interested in "feet up-feet down" sex.
I assume you're asking about the swing groups. For the most part the guys we ran into are (at least outwardly)terrified that their dick might mistakenly touch another guy's dick. Everybody wants their women to be BI, but the vast, vast majority of guys we came across are absolutely frightened to death of any sort of BI guy, much less a gay guy. But then again, you're not likely to run into a fully-gay man at a couples swing party.

Suffering from it myself, this would seem to be apart of someone's life regardless of profession. Seems as though it's an easy target to those with an agenda. Porn isn't {imo} the trigger, people go to their comfort zones where they feel safe. Again, like in every other job. The ratio may, MAY, be highr in porn but it isn't because of the industry.
I have to agree Xenomorph. There are mentally ill people in any profession, in most cases today they are the people you would suspect the least. Being mentally ill myself (controlled with medication) I have had several instances where I have told someone (for whatever reason) and the person has said in shock that he/she didn't know. Not all mentally ill people make asses of themselves on YouTube and make Photoshop cartoons mocking who they think want to kill/rape/pillage them (I will honor a request made by Steph [one of the owners of ADT] to me a long time ago and not give the name of the person I am referring here).
Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Thanks for the info. It's like women are expected to have "no limits" (which usually means something fairly specific), while the same is not expected (nor encouraged I suppose) in straight men.

I agree completely. There are millions upon millions who have psychological disorders/diseases and substance abuse, so only comparing meaningful is comparing between professions. Even then, I"m guessing the average age of porn performer is very low compared to average age of MD/doctor. Therefore, porn performers lower age has to be a factor (i.e., how many younger 18-25 are still experimenting or using substances vs. 30-45?). Also, I would caution comparisons too. MDs/doctors have some highest rates of suicides (large positive correlation between suicide and depression), substance abuse, alcoholism, divorce rates compared to other professional cohorts.

so what were your motivations for getting into porn then katja? and i don't mean to sound rude when i say this but you seemed sexually gratified when you were being fucked by a huge cock in the ass : ) i remember watching katja back in the early 2000's, she was probably one of my first "anal porn chicks" that i watched, lol.
what about female pornstars who entered the business primarily for the sex and secondarily for the money, are you saying that they don't exist? Edited by - Opium on 7/6/2012 1:07:49 AM

Some people think that Kristina Rose has got mental issues. Take a look on what people are saying about her on this thread Kristina Rose - Pornstar Superhero.
^ ^ Please no....that thread got mercifully locked. I've been kind of following it and it was bad. I thought some of the posters had the mental issues. Not Kristina. They sounded like once infatuated fanboys whom she either had done something they didn't like or approve of or perhaps ignored a twitter or some such and now just ranted. Kind of pathetic on their part. Kristina has always been known as having a pretty spunky attitude and that was part and parcel of her style.
I find it a little surprising that sexual gratification isn't even a minor reason why you like your job. You make it sound as if you get no sexual gratification at all in your porn scenes. Because sexual gratification is a pleasant feeling that would be at least a minor reason for you liking your job, if it was there at all. The logical implication of what you've just said has crushed all of my sex fantasies that I've had about your scenes. This total absence of sexual gratification I find so surprising, because sexual gratification is what porn scenes are all about for porn fans. And you've certainly tried your best to make it look like you were sexually gratified in your porn scenes that I've seen. Is it really all acting and pretending and no pleasure at all for you?

Gore Gore Girl All I can say to that is I think the MEN got the mental problems. Just look at the some of posts in threads in this forum that there are STILL men with mental problems. The men thinks if a porn star is getting paid there should do what ever the want then to do, even the porn star don't enjoy it and if the porn star say no to the fans, the fans bash her. Now that is just fucking sad.
I recognize that this is totally a peripheral point, but God damn is it hot that Katja is so fuckin smart. I'm glad she's back and has come to terms with the industry and glad that she's elevating the level of discourse in our forums.
I woke up today and everything is still everything! 403 Posts 1/09

i am mistaken, i thought i had read somewhere that he had both in play when the police murdered him. as a society we need to have much more understanding about how mental illness is no different than any other debilitating condition and treat it as such. up here in PDX there are sooooooo many cases of PPD killing mentally ill and often homeless men.
