What are your thoughts so far since Lexington Steele broke away from RLD and chose to carry on Mercenary Pictures w/o a distributor so far. I think the releases he's been putting out have been above average and the DVD quality of the menu's is outstanding. However, I still think Lex was in his prime during his 2001-2002 days at Anabolic. Pole Position is regarded as the first true interacial POV release and with Sharon Wild starring in the new Lex Steele XXX 4 things are looking pretty good for the Black Bastard.
The picture quality of the Mercenary stuff is decent, but the flicks aren't the greatest. Lex Steele XXX #4 was good, except for the one scene where Lex didn't appear, he used some Euro guy Zenza Raggi who's got a big cock, but has wood problems sometimes. Other than that one scene it was a good movie. The POV flick wasn't very good at all. Biggest problem was that the majority of the time Lex was shooting the girls face or upper body. If you can't see pussy being impaled by cock, what's the point of watching a porn? I do think his movies have been improving over time (the non POV stuff). I still haven't seen anything from him that I want to buy yet, but they are worth a rental once in a while.
The ones Ive sen from em has looked really good, quality gonzo. Seems to be higher production values, better girls and higher technical ambitions than atleast 90% of the stuff out there.
the only thing that appears lacking is promotion and distribution. Considering the quality talent Mr Steele uses im suprised the company isnt bigger already.
Either way, even tho i hate putting "labels" on things, Mercenary gotta be the absolutely best "black" company out there. Not that i really consider it a black line company tho.
Nice menus indeed. :) I do them so thank you for the compliments. Not to be biased but Lex Steele and Justin Slayer are the only two ethnic/gonzo related DvD's that I care to watch. Picture Quality is real good and the talents are top notch. I have to make sure I keep copies for my own personal enjoyment. ;)

Y'know, I wasn't a big fan of Lex-as-director, and I'm not into "all-thick-girls-all-the-time," though what a wonderful thing that is. So I don't have an opinion. Best of luck though.
Awwww, that's the thing; Lex's titles aren't geared towards soley an african american demographic. That means he has girls like Katja Kassin, Angel + Ashley Long, Katsumi, Ariana Jolee, Mercedes and so on. The guy keeps it moderate, which I like. You just have to check them out. Congrats on great menus Aside from some of the great talent Mercenary uses, what impresses me most is the technical care that seems to go into things, nice crisp pictures, menus that actually have some "artistic" ambition, darn nice covers etc. Altho I kinda realizes that since its mostly IR (and some people have issues with that pro OR con) the market might be somewhat smaller i gotta stand by my impression that Mercenary puts out products superior to most. Qudos to all involved for the effort.
Thats said, marketing and distribution seems somewhat lacking, but given the obvious high ambition I feel certain that will be rectified shortely.
