It was fun to do and good thing too ‘cause doing those review things can take a while. You gotta respect the guys who have done tons of them I guess, it shows some commitment. Thank god I didn’t choose one that has one of those ‘4 hours worth of bonus stuff’ discs. And I said I didn’t like one girls green eyeshadow in there but it was actually blue! Must. Do. Better.
I could go into things like the inspiration impact of seeing humour and enthusiasm shining through in certain other reviews - whatever the subject - but I think people can get arrested if they get too carried away with the whole mutual admiration thing in public (even in this liberal neck of the woods) so I should probably leave it at that.
And I’m sort of realising now that if you buy stuff based on good reviews then you tend to wind up just joining in the chorus of approval, and a bit light on movies that other people haven’t reviewed yet! Bummer!
I’m sure I’ll come up with something else to write about eventually. I’m thinking about doing around one a month might work. My life insurance company are talking about an increase in premiums if I go over that (they have clauses for everything, I swear).
Just joking. I’m actually looking forward a bit to reading some of this hate mail I’ve heard about! We’ll see.
