I don't think there should be an issue with asking the question in general, because it's just as valid as any other "will you do X" question when originally asked. The issue should be taking offense to whatever the answer is (outside of the answer being completely derogatory/insulting), and in using a simple "no/not now" answer as an argument against the performer. And more to the point, she's already said in this thread that's she's willing to do IR at some point, so asking when shouldn't be seen as pressuring or some huge offense.
