Michael Raven has been mentioned to me a few times as one of the best Adult directors working right now. I can't find any reviews listed in adultdvdtalk on any of his fairly recent work. Anyone got anything to say about him? You guys and gals recommend any of his work?

I've been told to check out Adrenaline or the new Underworld.

Welcome to Adult DVD Talk, Trunks. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Michael Raven also and just ordered a couple of his Sin City movies so we can get something in the reveiws from him. As for why nothing is there yet, many studios provide Adult DVD Talk with DVDs. So far (to my knowledge) Sin City (who releases most of Mr. Raven's work from what I remember) hasn't sent Steph anything to forward on to the reviewers. There are a few Sin City reviews (here's a quick link to Cherry Pie and Babewatch which I reviewed) so you can at least get a general idea of the overall quality I've seen from Sin City.

I buy a lot of movies for review. If I haven't watched a lot of stuff from a director, I generally wait until I read a review by someone I trust before buying the dvd. Too many companies are willing to produce crap for me to waste my hard earned dollars sight unseen. Sure, I'd like copies of his stuff for review but I'll wait until I read Astro's comments before considering a purchase.

That said, I haven't heard him referred to as one of the best directors. If he is, I'll eventually get some of his stuff but let's just say I'm doubtful of those claims.

Haven't seen any of his work on dvd. I know Jessica Drake (one of the Sin City contract girls) thinks he does good work though. As far as Sin City DVD's in general go they only recently started releasing titles on dvd (Dec 00 i think). The only one I own "Belle de Jour" isn't overly impressive as far as quality of the DVD goes. I was told they were going for the film look but IMHO the picture quality is not up to par.
