What more would you want him to do? Am I defending him, well kind of. I don't know him VERY personally, but I was able to chat with him in person for a bit in Vegas as well as some of the ladies in Vegas - all like Mike. As for the rest of Mike's posts here I don't know, the only one I seen/remembered was him calling some one names. But calling him names, is no better than what he did... You have to put your entire life savings into something before it even begins to turn around. Thankfully, we seem to have beaten the odds and are thriving in a highly competitive industry. There is less pressure now than in our first few months, when it seemed every bad review would sink us. Reviews come and go, but the reputation is slowly being built. He can make conventional non-anal scenes so totally hot (his work with Dani Woodward, and Jamie Brooks/Corinne Taylor); how many other male performers could do the same? Quincy, the post from Stefano is this one, where he got somewhat testy toward a fan's criticism of one of his movies. A week later, Stefano apologized about it, which certainly went a long way towards resolving the whole situation. I just started reading ADT's message board about that time, and I thought, was this what the typical interaction was between porn directors and fans? I see now that it's not. My other question at the time, which I still don't know the answer to, was wondering if the sentiments that Stefano expressed about porn fans are widespread amongst directors, or not. Perhaps most of the time, most of them are careful not to write these sorts of things on a public message board, but does that mean they don't occasionally think the same way? [Link] |
