But every time I restart my computer it automatically rechecks all the autoformat stuff. I have microsoft word XP--sp2. Is there a way to uninstall or to completely disable the autoformat part of microsoft Word permanently? any help will be kindly appreciated. I have to pay for lousy Microsoft assistance. thx :)  [Link] |

Perhaps you have the registry issue that this article describes... Then again, maybe not. In any case, if you do mess around with the registry, be very careful and precise about what you're doing, and, and do make a backup as the article suggests.
