Can anyone give me their quick review of this series? I think there are 10 of them in this series and I'm debating on buying 1, 3, or 10...or all three of them. They look pretty good and even though I'm 99% sure the whole "fucking stangers" is fake, if it's done in a semi-believable way then I think I'll like it. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

C'mon dude...cut me some slack. The "strangers" they refer to in this series are just schmucks that happen to be in the adult bookstore or where ever and get a lucky invitation to fuck a porn star. The "strangers" that porn girls fuck on a daily basis are showing up for a job to fuck. There's a big difference.
Discombobulated: first off your name. It's a word Wikipedia loves to use. The Midnight Prowl series is excellent, fake or real. Most of it looks real and the early ones anyway was shot for live internet consumption if im not mistaken. Get the one with the great Ava Devine, I think it's #3. This also has the cute Riley Brooks and Courtney Cummz doing something almost unmentionable, wiping Frank Wank's ass after he shit his pants. Also if you can get a hold of #2 with Delilah Strong & Cris Taliana, you won't be disappointed. #5 was good too but certainly not up to par with 2 & 3. Enjoy your viewing.
The first volumes are the real deal but after Khan Tusion left the perso who took forever faked the whole thing. I remember seeing pro-pornstar Adam Wood playing a regular guy, I think it was the Heidi Besk episode. What we need is someone who can bring this serie back the way it was, or Jamie Gillis should bring back the On The Prowl serie!

They're filmed in an adult bookstore in Santa Ana, Calif. They have a building they use for filming that's behind the building where the general public shops for adult fare.

The quality of chicks in their recent updates has really gone down hill. Now they are not in the bookstore anymore, this feels more like a regular scene anyways. Bring back the bookstore and the hot chicks and the REAL dudes and I am in like the old days!!
The video store set is a real place in east hollywood. They no longer shoot there. The shoots done there were a mix of local guys who were complete amatuers and a few lower-level porn guys.(mopes) Some of these mopes were the guys you see in blowbangs and bukkake videos. Many of the guys who show up for American Bukkake were recruited to do a prowl scene. These guys are not porn dudes, but still have current AIM tests and proper IDs. The newer updates have fewer guys per scene and mostly use these same "bukkake boys". They're not quite random dudes off the street, but they're not far from it. The only real difference is they were willing to go get a blood test in advance and they agreed to sign the paperwork.
