OK - I've recently ordered and sat through the Anal Overdose DVD. The film itself had some excellent girls and great potential, but was ruined by Mike's (or the camera operator's) choice of shots. I never thought I would get bored of seeing someone's dick going in and out of a girl's asshole. Mike Adriano has proved me wrong. The trouble with this film is the amount of close ups. Close ups are GOOD, don't get me wrong - but when a film consists ENTIRELY of close up's then it's boring as hell. As someone on this thread said earlier, the girl's in the film may as well not have legs - all you see is close ups of a cock going into an ass, and a cock going into a mouth. To add insult to injury is the minimal use of positions that Mike employs. Almost all of the fucking seems to be cowgirl/missionary in extreme close up, which means that all we see of the girl is her ass and (if we're lucky) her back. Mike spends 90% of the time led on his back, with the girls either riding him or sucking him. It's BORING, especially when one position can drag on for 15-20 minutes. I didn't see one single reverse cowgirl in the entire movie, which is ridiculous. If Mike is reading this - or if someone can bring it to his attention - can you PLEASE vary things up a bit more, and have a few wider shots where we can actually see more of the girl in question than her ass cheeks. Can we have some reverse cowgirls so that the viewer gets to appreciate the girl's body - not just Mike. There are some gorgeous girls in this movie - for God's sake let us see them! I'd like to see a girl's face, tits and pussy as she's getting fucked in the ass - not her back! What's the point of casting girls with great tits if we can't see them? It's incredibly frustrating. Anyway - I hope you take this as the constructive criticism from a paying customer that it's intended to be. I agree with both above, except for the part about Mike being the best. Mike could be great because his cock is great for porn, but working under the watchful direction of the "Evil Empire" will prove to be problematic on the subject of fully capturing reverse cowgirl scenes. Great talent, very competent performers, nice camera that shows high resolution, all shot in that claustrophobic style that is limiting this directors ability to execute a well rounded composition. It seems to be "conveniently" contagious at the "empire". It would be nice to see this director expand his abilities, and put some balance into his videos. I'm not trying to bash his material, I'm just politely providing feedback that I feel is honest, and relevant to this talented director.
^ I'm actually quite a big fan of Mikes' style of filming. I used to avoid Pov films but since seeing some of Mikes' I've come round to them. Even though his style isn't always strictly true Pov, I may now be a convert to the angle. In my opinion, I hope he doesn't change his style. I totally respect your opinion, and Mike's right to film in whichever style he is comfortable. However, I can't help but notice that by doing this, he is limiting the viewer. This is why I think that camera operators are becoming less and less necessary. I would SO much rather be able to choose my own angles through the use of multiple cameras and technological advancements with multiple angles via a smarter remote control. See,...some people like eating bread only. Me, I like eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and eating bread gets really boring after a while. That's just me. ^True, but it would be worth it to me to get rid of the middle-men (camera operators) who basically serve only as filters for what I would prefer to see. Tight shots of faces and genitalia are rampant in the industry, even a tripod could do a better job of capturing the full composition of the action, in my humble opinion.

Completely agree... I look forward to every single one of his releases. I'm rarely also ever into every scene in a movie, but I am in Mike's movies, even with girls I don't find that attractive. Some of the anal POV shots in his recent movies have been just incredible... nothing else compares in my opinion... I guess he just suits my tastes. I do wish he'd do a bit more pull on POV (as opposed to from the side), and zoom out a bit more, but that's just a wish, not a complaint.
