When you call the situation "ridiculous" instead of inviting discussion, don't you realize you're giving credence to performers/producers/directors who keep fans at an arm's length? Why would they subject themselves to the aggravation? Perhaps if fans behaved in a less entitled manner and tried something constructive such as trying to foster and encourage friendly, civil engagement with industry players who typically don't do it, maybe they would be more amenable to participating? I would think Mike would understand that he cannot please everyone. But at the end of the day, most of us are fans of Mike and that is why we continue to watch and pay for his content.

Well, personally, I don't feel entitled but one thing I'd like to know is why Mike has not released a single new video on TrueAnal since june 12 and porn studios were free to restart shooting that day. As a paying member from TrueAnal, I am happy that he shoots scenes on OnlyFans and ManyVids but I'm already paying for one of his site and there has been no new video in nearly 4 months. Forget the 3 months the studios were closed, what irritates me is the lack of communication as to why there's been nothing for the last month, just an announcement, an approximative date when shooting will resume. Because right now, I really feel like I'm throwing my cash through the window. 6 months membership and 0 new scene in nearly 4 months, almost $100 in the fire.

Putting it behind an extra paywall helps weed out the people who want to steal content easily. Hope that explains why so many people use PPV messaging. OF would be way better if it were upfront like this. Put a good length preview of the scene, and then put an option to buy with the price and length of the scene. Otherwise you have no idea what you're paying for.

^^ I hear what you're saying Jane but while I have been critical of a second paywall, the lack of transparency is my biggest criticism of content sold through it. To see a detailed description and screenshots of the such content make the minority. Whether I subscribe to regular porn site is almost always dependent on previews and trailers. There is only one exception but that was only because the previews on Twitter are better than on the site that I was persuaded to sign up.
There are thumbnail generating apps for smartphones and on PC/Mac so there's plenty at the disposal of content makes to facilitate decent previews. The majority of the time I'm offered content through a DM, I feel like I'm being offered a loot box where the contents aren't quite randomized but I still like I don't have enough information to determine if I'd like it or not.
I would be an interesting experiment if making 6-8 thumbnails of each video would see an increase in sales both from existing customers who buy through the second paywall and if it generates new sales from customers who only use the base subscription.
This right here. I get the idea of patronage support, which I think is where OnlyFans makes the most sense, but why should I pay even a few dollars for some scene that has amateur production values when I can get much better from professional sites for $10/month?
