When's that going to take place in this industry as well? And why is it good for the goose (the aforementioned examples) and not for the gander (the porn industry)?
Frankly, I am beginning to think that the companies are beginning to prefer this state of affairs and are perfectly happy to put content out in dribbles and drabs, holding this to be the new normal, and conditioning their customers to be happy with it on account of "safety/political concern for the industry", and if they can will be more than happy to roll with this new business model - more money for less content.
^^ Sports leagues haven't faced proposed legislation changes in recent years specifically aimed to curtail the freedoms of those in it, allowing those backing the proposed changes to profit significantly if the proposals were passed, all under a pretence of looking out for the health of performers. The porn industry has faced it and could well face it again if a non-STD virus oubreak occurs - you can colour me surprised if the NFL, NBA or NHL for example faced such sanctions if even a large number of players or staff tested positive for coronavirus.
I do agree that there may be porn industry players who will be happy to take advantage of the current situation and produce content on a lower budget and/or in smaller quantities if they can make a greater profit margin compared to before the lockdown.

Aren't those technically "confirmed"? Maybe not shot yet (or maybe yes), but he generally doesn't follow someone if they haven't shot a scene or are planning or shooting a scene together.
