He releases an insane amount of material and things are bound to get monotonous. I would rather see someone trying something new and bold even if it completely misses the mark than to see someone stay in a safe zone all the time. If I can make a rock music analogy, Jules Jordan is like Muse or The Foo Fighters and Mike Adriano is Radiohead. Most people like Muse and The Foo Fighters and think they're good bands. But people are more polarizing in thinking Radiohead is either the greatest modern rock band or just weird/overrated. This is another example of why I am a fan of his work because he wants to make his own porn that doesn't look like anyone else's. I can respect that. I can understand some porn fans being turned off by his quirks, but the good news is if you prefer more standard style porn, your options there are limitless (Jules Jordan, Mason, William H., Brazzers, Jonni Darkko, etc). I'm a fan of all of those directors as well, but I like Adriano's stuff for a change of pace, and in spite of some definite misses, I think more often than not he hits it out of the park. I like to see more natural chemistry between the performers and if that means sometimes the shot or angle isn't perfect then so be it. Sometimes he does achieve a perfect balance of his shooting style with natural chemistry though. The Kagney Linn Karter scene in Anal Bombshells is a good example. There's a section where she just loses it and starts begging him to give it to her and then he just starts pounding her without pausing in predictable intervals to do gape shots. I also wish the camera man (Claudio?) would occasionally pull back and do wide angle shots of the girls bodies while Mike is fucking them. It seems like it's either super close on penetration or super close on her face. I like those shots, but I also like variety and seeing their body shape. They do great tease footage at the beginning of the scenes of the girls bodies, but I also like seeing their full bodies on display during the sex. Like put them in new positions that he doesn't usually do and just say fuck it if it's not a perfect camera angle. Be more spontaneous with the girls and let Claudio improvise on the fly. His scenes average out to like an hour so if there are sections that are not perfect technically, it's not a big deal. I want to reiterate that I am a huge fan of this guy's work. These are just small suggestions I have (not like he will ever read this). And overall I think he is killing it right now.
