When the scene is ready to release, they just set the release date a couple of weeks later than it have to be, and then ask for an higher price to se it "before it is released". This may stab them in the back, because it means the scenes get pirated and available for download for free on the pirate sites before the actual "official release", which makes it even more tempting to download from pirate sites. If anything, it convinces fewer people to pay for Evil Angel, because non-subscribers have access to a better collection of scenes than subscribers do. The "calendar" of the releases is entirely artificial. It is not like pre-ordering a book or booking a catering company in advance. When Evil Angel finalizes the scene video file, they are able to make infinite copies of that at an extremely low (almost literally negligible) cost. By "releasing" it one day and "pre-releasing" it at an earlier time, they are simple trying to create an artificial scarcity that is not well thought-out for the realities of the internet economy. Only issue really is that people tend to reveal what happens in the scene ahead of me seeing it. For example I like it when Mike's bjs get a bit messy and the girl pukes a little (or a lot). When he's got new scenes coming out now people tend to reveal ahead of time whether that occurs in the scene and can kill my anticipation or sometimes over heighten it if poster exaggerates it.
