I was checking out the box for No Cum Dodgers Allowed 2 (RLD), and I noticed the little TM beside his name, just like in the subject header here. Is this a new trend I don't know about?

All right. In that case I have officially trademarked my signature. No one else can use it.

You will never get to the top of the "Qoutes Hit Parade" if you keep this up.

Press Release: cobalt60 is releasing all previously copyrighted materials to a new level of usability!

In an unprecedented move, cobalt60 is relinquishing rights to all original materials under a new license -- none.

Please feel free to use and abuse me; I rather like it.

Besides, nothing I've said hasn't been said better somewhere else by someone else at some point.

Asked why he would do such a thing, cobalt60 replied "At what cost fame and recognition? At what cost my soul? Everyone should benefit equally from my skewed perspective, and feel free to use my words as they see fit. Hell, they don't even have to give me credit. There's more where that came from."

(You really know how to hit an attention whore where it hurts, WB)

I just got a Playboy lingerie/gift catalog in the mail, and on the back, in tiny letters, it says that the words "centerfold" and "bunny" are trademarks of Playboy Enterprises. Go figure.

I'll bet those could easily be defeated.

The 'bunny logo' might be a different matter.

But someone would first have to bring a lawsuit in court. I know I'm not interested, and don't have the spare cash on hand to do so.

The 'bunny' one really threw me, how the trademark office let them do this is hard to understand.

Your are right, the bunny logo is trademarked, even the words "rabbit head design" are, too.

Just in case anyone is wondering, the American Rabbit Breeders Association has long railed against the Playboy logo. These breeders, most of whom are small-time farmers, hate the fact that their beloved rabbits have become the symbol of lasciviousness, the world over. They have their own logo, with the rabbit heads facing the right, rather than the left:

These rabbits always remind me of good, upstanding Republicans.

As a bunny (not Playboy) fan, please bring back your bunnies icon.

Edited to change lover to fan.

I wanted to try a classier looking avatar, but in a few weeks, I'll put up another rabbit photo, depending on what I can find in the Google image archive.

Yes, yes, I have a pet rabbit; her name is Cookie™ . I have trademarked her name, because I don't want any porn actresses to take it. I don't have a photo of her because I don't have a scanner to load it as an avatar.

She is my 4th bunny. Before her there was Mr. Bunny (you can read about him in the Stories Forum, in the "BisexualBunni" story), Ms. Bon Bon and Lil Pete. You know, these sound like the names of porn actors and actresses, come to think of it.

It's not without reason that they say you get your stripper name or porn name by combining the name of your first pet with the name of the first street you lived on. Mine is Lady Clovewood, and my husband's is the best - Little Kitty Fairmount. Waaaaaaaaaah, I don't know how to do the little TM thing.

Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V! I've never been able to get a signature to work on ADT, though, so I *always* have to copy-paste. (That's why I stopped. It turned into work!)

Well, then mine would be Sammi Cotswold. Sounds real erotic, don't you think.

By the way, I got the little TM from going into Microsoft Word, and clicking on the Symbol menu.

If Mike John has actually trademarked his name, I wouldn't blame him. There have been quite a few stupid disputes in porn over a person's stage name if they leave a distribution company.
(Tera Patrick™)
Digital Playground now puts on their advertising that Jesse Jane is a registered trademark of Digital Playground.

Stryc-9 and Luciano unsuccessfully tried to keep their stage names from Extreme Associates and became Cherry Mirage and Michael Stefano.
