I can only assume that porn star wages is often discussed in this forum, but I'm wondering what some of these MILF stars are receiving these days in terms of a fee? Is it a one-time fee per movie, or for a series of movies, or...?
In the last year or so I've become somewhat infatuated with a few MILF's, particularly Erica Lauren. I'd like to know more about her...
I can't help but think these MILF stars aren't receiving much - they seem to be the most desperate.
Or are they exhibitionists at heart? What drives these women to appear in adult movies at their ages?
Thanks.

They're repped by the same agencies and prices are usually set by demand. Why would you think it would be any different?

Although I've watched and enjoyed adult films for decades, I'm really unfamiliar with the industry, how it works, and their wages.
And, I have to admit this is my first post here.
I had this assumption that MILF's were being paid less a young star, and I'm not even aware of what they make per movie.
And I assume that royalties are not paid to the actors?
Thanks.

While there is sometimes a bit of discrepancy between particular stars for their per-scene rate, especially when it comes to "specialty acts" (anal, creampie, etc.), in general no performers receive royalties for their scenes.
The exception would be when a performer owns their own company (like Tera Patrick owning Teravision, for example).
In general though, there are fairly standard rates for a g/g scene, a blowjob, a b/g scene, etc. and an older performer wouldn't make any more or less than a younger one.
The difference can be that the younger performer might get hired more often, and thus make more money, but even this isn't always true; a hot and in-demand MILF like Lisa Ann or Julia Ann gets quite a lot of work, easily comparable to many stars half her age.

Really attractive MILFs are harder to come by than the general pornchick population.
MILF, as a category, is one of the fastest growing (if not the fastest) categories of Adult movies.
Many of the best MILFs are pornchicks who have made careers in porn (example: Kylie Ireland). I don't see girls of Kylie's stature taking "less" as their demand increases.
There are quite a few "brand new" MILFs (i.e. who have entered the industry as 30+ year olds). For those that are really attractive and they have the added cache of being "fresh," I would think they can demand as much as any of the general pornchick population can.
As with any age group, there will be your A-list girls, B-list girls, Rest-of-the-list girls and the Here-today-gone-tomorrow girls.
My feeling is that A-list MILFs (certainly) and B-list MILFs (probably) are paid as well as the general pornchick population. Some more; Some less.
Now, girls like Jenna Haze probably make 2-3 times what the average girl does. You will have the "superstars" in most categories. But, a girl like Jenna Haze will sell a lot of DVDs across many categories. Whatever they pay her, she is probably worth more
I wonder if there are any "superstar" MILFs out there? Any opinions?

Thank you!
I'm wondering if the phone rings more for a young star, rather than a MILF?
Are MILF's in demand at all?
I see Erica Lauren listed on World Modeling.com, for what that's worth.
Thanks again.

I believe it's how much "in demand" the woman is.
If she's very attractive, then her phone will ring quite often. If she has a huge fan base, her phone will ring often.
There is a "demand" for Milfs, depending on how one defines "Milf."
I've seen attractive women at the supermarket that I wanted to see naked.
I mean, I can see several young hot girls on the web, but what makes the Milf so appealing?
Are Milfs "desperate" ?
We all can get desperate sometimes.
Young very hot girls can get desperate, if you see it that way.

I think your question has been answered. There's no absolute rule. It depends on the specific performer - how popular she is, what sort of fanbase she has, and what acts she's willing to perform.

My question has indeed been answered, although I've never actually read any dollar figures. I suppose it doesn't matter one way or another.
I have the hots for MILFs lately, especially Erica Lauren. I'd be a member of her "fan base" if I knew how.
There's something more believable about a MILF compared to the other young stars we've watched for years.

I'm wondering how many pornstars designated MILFs are actually Mothers. Daphne Rosen has done several MILF movies, and she doesn't have any kids. Heck, she isn't even thirty.
But then again, who cares? I just want to fuck her.

Exactly.
So what IS a milf?
Exactly!
So why use the term "Milf"?

I'm thinking that it's a recognizable label.
Such as "Extreme".
Or iPod. iPhone. iRazor. or whatever.
"From the makers of that last awesome product, comes another one!"
Now, some buyers are running (or clicking) to their video stores or websites, eagerly saying, "Aw, man, I can't wait to get some more Milf action!"
When in reality, they want Tits, Ass, fucking and sucking, the same product that other porn stars have... without the label.
Man, I sure could go for a "Klondike."
It's an ice cream sandwich, Dude!!!

^. Marketing is a large, inclusive term. Very broad.
I think the label "milf" has to do with Product name. Product recognition. Helping the product to stand out among the rest.
But you're right. It falls under Marketing.

MILF, of course, comes from the movie American Pie as most people know and ever since then it has gradually become the hottest genre of porn available. The reason why there are 6 million new MILF titles every day is because they sell better than any other sub-species of smut. Five years ago everything was "Teen" but now those don't sell nearly as well.
The Marketing of this porn niche is now bordering on absurd as more and more companies are putting girls who are well under 30 years old in movies with "MILF" in the title. There is even a movie out there called "Teen Milf", as if somehow the fantasy is about a teenager getting knocked up and going on welfare as opposed to an older, experienced woman seducing a younger man.
We can however be thankful that the ever-increasing popularity of this genre has brought Lisa Ann and Julia Ann out of retirement as well as Brittany O'connell and a handful of other legends who are doing their best work ever.
P.S. Regarding MILF wages. The top girls are getting almost 3 times as much as their teen counterparts in some cases.

I agree. American Pie got it right.
I don't want 20-something welfare moms with a 2 year old.
I want the 40 something, good-looking, casual-wearing, supermarket-shopping, PTA-attending, soccer mom who rocks the world of a young 18 to 24 year old guy.
::Sigh:: What happened to the days of "the customer is always right" ???
