Not all porn consumers are white. Most people like to envision themselves in a scene and being black makes it more realistic for black fans. That's my opinion on it.
Actually we are re-introducing her as a director. What many fail to realize is I don't get involved with my chick when it comes to performing. She has more things that she want to explore and it's amazing that the fans demand her to come back in front of the camera. I'm sure it's flattering to her...however...we empower women with our company to be just more then performers. We want the girls to do something bigger and better with their career.
I don't think it's a simple as you are attempting to make it. Basically, site ranking like that are solely based on traffic. When it comes to porn sites and traffic, it's almost literally about making event scenes/movies that people want to see (i.e. it's about specific scenes and not the site as a whole). Because of how big she's become, Nikki Benz's IR movie was always going to generate a ton of traffic, improving his site's ranking. But a scene doesn't have to be IR to be an event scene, it just has to be something people haven't seen before from someone very popular. For example, whenever Dani Daniels decides to do her first anal scene, that's going to be an event scene and it's going to drive a nice amount of traffic to someone's site. Or if that rumored Iggy Azalea sex tape were to exist and be released, that would generate a ton of traffic for whatever site hosted it. Brazzers and Naughty America haven't gotten any bumps in traffic because they haven't shot any major scenes of that notoriety (Naughty hasn't really tried in a very long time, to be honest, and while Brazzers has, those scenes haven't been generating that much heat). In other words, what those sites need isn't to diversify, it's to get more firsts that people are excited to see.
That will be a good idea for sequels. Help make the 2nd volume stand out more. Most commonly slo-mo has been used in the tease intros, but I also think it's awesome for some shots during the core of the scene. I like to see more experimentation like that. Maybe not for every scene in a release, but one or two having a few shots here and there to spice it up. Slow motion reverse cowgirl = Epic, especially if she has a phatty. It looks spectacular in regular cowgirl too, with fit girls or those with big jugs. If I was directing a more experimental scene, I'd try and blend in more styles and effects, like a music video. I see that mostly reserved for the teases though. I'd do a whole scene on some Hype Williams meets John Woo shit! Woo does all this slo-mo action, and Williams does all those funky stylized angles. I think of Woo's high mark being Face/Off and Hype's best was probably "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See" and "Big Pimpin." Granted this may come off as pie in the sky pipe dreaming, and there is only so much you can manage with the budget that's left after all the talent costs, but I am still curious, Mime what do you think have been the hottest music videos that influenced you?
