By no means have I done as many reviews as you have. And I certainly haven't gained the respect or made the connections in this industry that you have, but I certainly relate to your rant. I have had things like this happen to me on occasion, as I suspect most reviewers who are in some way fairly well read--whether they've written 5 reviews, or 5000.

As I've gained in reviewing experience, I've certainly thickened my skin a little as a reviewer. Like you though, I do wish some people wouldn't take my opinions, and my reactions so personally (or seriously :). As another very savvy and wise porn personality who frequents this forum (named cal444) has said--"it's all water off a duck's back."

We'd all do well to learn that lesson--both as reviewers and as producers/performers--especially when it comes to the varied and fickle tastes of pornography. :)
