For me that mean taking a quasi-documentary approach – it's the least complicated/costly/time comsuming way I know to create the basic elements of story: character and scenario. If there was someone who had some real chops for directing features I bet he could get credible performances out of porn performers. But it would take a lot of casting effort, and a lot of production time. I don't know of any porn performers that would be happy working for SAG minimum (or less) for the sake of supporting a director's artistic ambitions. There are already quite a few movies that have hardcore sequences in them. Unfortunately, these films aren't erotica (so to speak), they just use explicit stuff for shock values or whatever. Now we've been talking about Danish "All about Anna" in the other thread, and maybe it's gonna be it.. the missing link. However, I was wondering if something like this has been done in the past. Something like Emmanuelle with Silvia Kristel, only unsimulated.. [Link] |
