Ok so I borrowed the movie off a friend, and watched it lastnight. I must say, it was a disappointment and badly shot. I am not trying to be mean to Monique, but there was just no passion or heat in the scene...and the camera work was really bad, even for a Vivid production. I really feel girls should never waste their "Firsts" for Vivid, because they have no clue how to make the most of them.

Thanks for the info. So, let's see how far she will take this tattoo "fetish". To be honest, I think she is still hot but those tattoos just don't seem right on her. She's not the type of girl for this. But that's just my humble opinion...I just hope she finally realizes this.Thank god she really seems to be. But I swear every oath possible. Plus, escort agencies are well known for making claims they can't keep--and there are "fans" who get shot down by performers they meet, then go onto boards claiming to have paid & partied with them. I just "discovered" Monique too. I saw her years ago and thought she was hot but she only did g/g then and I don't like veg at all. not a nice person, a couple of weeks ago i chatted with her (took her to a private show) on an adult webchat page. what an incredible waste of time and money. What a c**t. She is so full of herself. She does come across as a down to earth person but she is far from it.
I can't speak to your experience but mine with Monique (chats, in-person, e-mails) have always been very good. I never felt she was "full of herself" and her reputation in the biz is being professional, cooperative, and hard-working in her scenes. That said, she has been in the biz for 10 years--which amounts to several lifetimes in porn--and the longer a performer is in the biz, the more jaded (and likely to buy into the "Celeb" thing) they become. Still, I hope yours was a one-time bad experience, because I'd hate to see her change. Oh, as for her physical make-overs: I hate the tats--and they are the #1 reason I stopped buying EVERY sexvid she's in. With the tats she doesn't get my juices flowing like she use to. Plus she seems to have done "something" to her face & lips--botox? As for the implants, after 10 years of porn-biz fucking, even the most physically fit girl's tits are going to sag. And in the super-competitive world of porn, so going to the surgeon is to be expected. Bottom line: IMO, porn performers are far more likely to make poor choices regarding their appearance than most other women. Including mainstream models and actresses. Must be something in the water.

Monique is awesome. Ever since she left Vivid she's really been putting out great stuff. I hope she stays in the biz for a while and keeps it up.
What you say is what many, many fans say about ex-contract stars. And I always like to--respectfully--add a little "balance" to those statements. In my opinion, one of the main reasons Monique has lasted in the porn biz (that Monique has said can "eat you up and spit you out") is because she follows her own instincts. And does what she wants to do--not what others (fans, agents, directors, companies) push her to do. Some gently, others forcefully. Some of her instincts, like the tats and botox or face surgeries are just bad ideas. Other instincts, like doing IR and anal ONLY with guys she's comfortable with--and who she can trust not to abuse her--are smart. As a result of having positive experiences in her scenes, she is a "cheerleader" for the biz--representing the industry during the Yale University debates, and being considered a fan friendly person by most. Still, Monique may have paid a "price" for following her instincts, in lost of some work and fans--and the tats probably contributed to her departure from Vivid. But, unlike many, many porn performers, Monique will have few if any regrets about her career, when it ends. And, I bet, Monique will never be one of those former porn performers who bad mouths the industry. Monique is a true Rebel, and is a role model for a successful career--by being in Control, and not doing things that you don't want to. Ginger Lynn always said that to new girls, and she was right.

Monique posted on Twitter this morning that she's shooting today. Don't know if it's photos or video, but sounds like she's working again.
