His "Cry Wolf" is just as good a feature as Soderbergh's "Girl Friend Experience"--maybe better! Thomas' biggest problem, IMO, is that he works so often that he's not "inspired" by most of the product he's given to direct at Vivid...usually remakes. And as for Monique and "success" you've hit the nail on the head--for why she's taking a break from b/g. If you look at it from HER perspective, she has reached success: she was marketable with a strong fan base/high video sales, she's done every type of scene (g/g, b/g, IR, anal) that SHE's interested in doing, and she's won awards for & starred in ("Cry Wolf") one of the Best Adult videos of all time--in terms of story/theme, photography, sexual performances. So, where would she go from here? Start her own company like Jenna, Jill, Briana, Sunny & numerous others? Direct like Stormy, Belladonna, Dyanna Lauren? No...I don't see Monique pursuing either of these options. IMO if Monique didn't have those ugly tattoos, she could (at 27 years old) expand out to other, mainstream modeling options like Stefani Morgan and Faye Regan (to just name two other girls) have done.
