Horses for courses, but they were popular with some, and occupied a niche for which there was certainly a market.
Now just place holders on the web pages. I wonder if it's a business or legal problem. I believe they were based in Hungary.

Mood is the worst kind of bastardized BDSM. If I was trying to make all BDSMers look bad to someone who didn't know any better, I'd show whoever it was something from Mood Pictures.

Whoa there! I'm not one, but I've read enough written by BDSM practitioners to accept that BDSM is a consensual practice between loving adults who happen to be aroused by bondage and discipline PLAY. In every BDSM session a so-called 'safe word' is established beforehand. Once that word is uttered by anyone involved, all activity stops, period.
There is never the disire on anybody's part in BDSM to inflict actual PAIN, but only to stimulate arousal. With different people, this stimulation may be more severe -- what to other BDSMers would be too painful and no longer a pleasure.
I have a hard time believing, however, that any practicing BDSM lover would find flaying or being flayed bloody and screaming in terror and pain or even watching such a performance a turn on.
I am willing to correct this opinion if an actual couple were to say it should be corrected, but nothing less would convince me that it can be a pleasure of any kind to be beaten bloody and black and blue is anything like what its fans regard as "real BDSM". It is rather what former slaves regarded as real punishment.
