BUT, we are talking about maybe two dozen, model-quality pornstars at any one time. Meanwhile, seekingarrangements has hundreds of thousands of women. By those numbers, most women would seem to prefer what you suggest.

Most (or some) pornstars are exhibitionists and have a high sex drive. Also, prostitution can be a dangerous and more high risk than porn. Nowadays with OnlyFans, you can more money shooting porn at home with a boyfriend than being an escort. Porn isn't just hot supermodels anymore. couples, moms with kids, and single women also make porn. People on here really puzzle me on what they think of women in porn. Some of you think very little of them.

An established career on the other hand gives you independence to do what you want. You are not utterly dependent on some rich boy, and you don't have to please them and adjust to their eccentricities. Read Elon Musk's ex wife account.
Why do mainstream actors and producers want streaming services to disclose data? Knowledge is power. Streaming services pay up a premium to talent so they never know the numbers.

I mean if it is one sugar daddy then it is big risk and if you many you are just as promiscuous anyway - minus the safety standards.
And you must be a simpleton to believe their are hundreds of thousands of pornstar quality girls on that platform. None of them is Rachel Starr or Gianna Dior. Not even close.
Additional points - Many European girls on Legal Porno also have sugar daddies. Some American pornstars have dated super rich / celeb men both before and after their entry into industry. Heck, some have used it as leverage.

I love sex, too, but I wouldn't make a career out of it for exactly that reason. Not to mention there are drawbacks. It must take a physical and emotional toll, including dangers like disease. I don't believe the question is silly. I don't think of the performers as victims or dumb whores. I've asked this question of many professions including the presidency.

And some people make careers out of it. No shit it's emotionally and physically stressful, just like professional sports or being the president. STD's always been a risk for sex workers and pornstars but people who aren't pornstars take this risk each day for free and they don't get tested each month. Pornstars do it because it's a job, it pays well if you're a star and they love sex. I know from my time going to swinger clubs, hosting gangbangs, and spending time in the BDSM scene, that some people are very sexual and do this shit for free. These women are smart and make money doing it. You're buying so there's a market for porn. So, you think they shouldn't do porn, so what would you have to jack off to?
