Long ago, I think John Holmes had some bit of renown outside the porn world. Marilyn Chambers had some degree of infamy due to her Ivory Soap box. More recently, every now and then, I catch a reference to Ron Jeremy, and he has done a few things outside of porn. Of course, there's Jenna. Sasha Grey? IMHO, whatever fame she has isn't as extensive. Ditto Ginger Lynn. The Sheen girls? The only name anyone cares about there is Charlie's. That's about all I can come up with off the top of my head. Just based on my own frame of reference, I'm going to go with Ron Jeremy over John Holmes, as Ron's had three decades or so to burnish his reptutation that John didn't get. [Link] |
