Regarding anal sex, I like it in porn as well (not so big on it in real life). Watching the likes of Crystal Ray, it seems that anal is a skill which can be learned, but I would as soon not have her progress documented in every scene. However, I realize that producers are in somewhat of a bind here. If a performer states that she'll do anal, and is hired to do so, I doubt most can afford to throw the scene in the trash if her willingness to take a dick up the ass isn't matched by her pleasure in it. Having said that, I do think that one can make regular use of those women who are comfortable, or happy, with anal, rather than following the 'shot you once, now you're history' philosophy that seems prevalent these days. I also think producers would find they got better performances if they didn't hire the biggest dicks in porn to take on performers who are edging into the 'anal pool.'

At any rate, I would like to echo Darth_Morpheous, only honesty compels me to say that I have no way of knowing whether a performer truly enjoys anal sex or not. So long as the woman appears to be having a good time, who am I to cavil?

From all the gonzo films I've watched, I estimate that 90% of the scenes are anal. Which must translate into 90% of porn actresses out there have to do anal, or else get few bookings. But what if an actress does anal for a couple of scenes and isn't all that comfortable with it, and wants to go back to just doing regular sex scenes? She's stuck. There isn't that much work for those actresses anyway, and once an actress starts doing anal, all the directors will want her to do anal, because she's already done it. Chico Wang made a post to this effect a couple of weeks ago.

Plus, the pressure is on directors to film anal scenes of one sort or another. Somewhere, somehow, this is what they feel all porn fans want to see. It doesn't seem to matter to directors if the actress is any good at it, or enjoys it, or can do it without pain or discomfort.

I think by now, I watched about 150 different actresses over the past year who were in anal scenes, about half were European, the others work in the US. I can think of four who enjoyed the anal sex they were doing – Katya Kassin, Vicky Vette, Tera Joy and Sandra Romain. There are 4-5 more who's names I can't recall right now, who were also good at it.

The rest fell into two other categories. There's the one's who can do anal with no pain, but have no pleasure with it; a majority of the Eastern European actresses are like this. The others are the ones who have difficulty with anal and look uncomfortable with it. Some of these women were new actresses, some aren't.

If every producer only hired the actresses who like doing anal and can show this during a scene, there be a lot, lot fewer anal scenes being filmed. You fans would be seeing the same women over and over again - then there'd be plenty of complaints about that.

So, there's your choice – fewer anal scenes but with the better actresses, or a ton of anal scenes, but with many actresses who aren't good at it. Take your pick.

Maybe some of the male performers who have worked with Sandra would care to comment on this, to set us porn fans straight, one way or the other.

Wally, no disrespect, but the topic of this thread was "Why aren't there more actresses and actors who look like they enjoy anal sex?" It's not exactly for fans who enjoy watching uncomfortable anal sex scenes. Besides, your viewing needs are met over and over again - there are, sadly, way too many painful anal scenes out there, so you've got nothing to moan about.
