I first saw and bought the fleshlight in a fantastic store called Good Vibrations in San Francisco. It's best classified as a penis sleeve, basically something for guys to slide around in. At the time I bought it, it came in only one shape, but now they have four. The shape I bought was the "non-descript" shape, but basically, they all are the same except for the opening. You can get a much better description and see great photos of this toy by visiting the website, so I'll just concentrate on the review here.

First, I must say that I've not bought many of these these sleeves because to me, most of them feel so terrible just handling them with my hands in the store that I couldn't imagine that they would feel good for Mr. Happy. The Fleshlight is the first device that actually was intriguing to the touch, mostly because it's made of silicone. For those of you who haven't felt this material before, it's probably the most flesh-like surface I've felt. It's quite Jell-O like. I paid $65 for it, but I believe you can find it for less now.

How does it perform? Well, it requires a water-based lube (oil ones will cause it to deteriorate, according to the instructions) and it requires a LOT, because of a particular design decision the makers made: it's open at the end. The device is a plastic tube-shaped housing with the silicone sleeve in the center, both open on the end. This has several advantages: 1. Air can escape while you're sliding in and out. 2. It's much easier to clean. However, it also means that your lube tends to dry out rather fast, so you'll constantly find yourself re-lubing the tube.

The silicone has other great properties too, namely that it has a high enough heat capacity that you can soak it in warm water before you use it and it will stay warm for at least 10 minutes. It also is fairly easy to clean; just rinse it out with water and let it air dry.

I have found it a so-so masterbation tool; it isn't quite enough to finish the job, so to speak, because it's nearly impossible to increase the sensation by faster movements. Silicone is just that flexible and soft. It's definitely a nice starter. Because it also has a hole open at the end, it's a bit messy. This means you have to be pretty careful about using it in someplace where spillage is a problem. I've found that actually it's best used in the shower.

The most unexpected benefit of this toy is that it's great fun when shared with my girlfriend when she's not terribly energetic. You can alternate between blowjob and the sleeve quite quickly, and it allows her to rest a bit.

In summary: Pros: If you like sleeves, this is probably the best one out there. It's easy to clean and feels great! Cons: Needs lots of lube, and it can be messy if you're not careful.

Story One:

Fade In: A car pulling up into a drive way of a well to do two-story house.

Rip_Par arrived home early. He enters his home to see Stephanie sitting at the table.

Rip_Par takes a spoon of the soup and brings it to her lips. Again we do not clearly see her face. He continues to spoon feed her a few more times.
“Do you want to take a bath? Its been a long day. Here let me help you.”

He picks her up and it appears they walk out of the room. Rip_Par undresses Stephanie and helps her into the bathtub. Rip_Par joins her in the bathtub. He holds her in his arms as the bathtub fills with water. He spoons up some water and splashes it against her stomach. He grabs a soap and begins to soap her up.
He kisses her neck.
“I hope you feel better soon. You haven’t eaten much in days. I hope you aren’t coming down with anything.”
He washes her off and he helps her get dry. They walk into another room where he helps her get dressed. Rip_Par then puts on some hybrid boxer/briefs and then sweats.
Stephanie is under the covers of their bed. Rip_Par climbs in next to her.
“Goodnight, sweetheart.”
Rip_Par runs his fingers through Stephanie’s long curly black hair.

Zoom In onto Stephanie’s face and focuses. We can now see her face clearly. Her eyes are open. We can clearly see she is a Real Doll.

great review. More reviews will be coming soon I hope. but there is one thing I would like to suggest:

a noise factor. My SO loves her toys but finds that some of the noise is just to distracting. So I would like to know how noisy they are before I buy a new toy for her. I've been looking into the erosolator, but when they say quiet how quiet (sales pitching babble??).

anyway if 0 was no noise and 10 a classic vib, then we have a reference to go by.

P.S. I plan on asking the Sybian people if they would care to donate a unit so I could give it a thorough review, but I'm not optimistic. $1500. is way too much for something that's essentially an overturned 1/2 barrel, upholstered, with a vibrator on top. Of course, it would have to be hard-wired for AC current, not a big deal. For that kind of money, it should also have an electric motor so you could have it piston-driven as well. Not that I've thought about it much.....
