Ok, this may have been brought up or asked about before, but here is some feedback from my amateur porn watching -
Can someone take the better attitude European/overseas women (and many times more attractive women), the exotic sets and outfits and makeup (ala "Private" with the latex, glitter, liquid latex and paint), combine this with American style camera-work (the good kind, where they give you good angles and shots for a while, and not flip randomly through 8 different angles every split second so your eyes hurt and you feel dizzy), and a cross between the Euro-style action and American action........
combine this with some directors who know how to create a good atmosphere...................
oh and to the American ladies, I know that the men here have issues in which they are lacking as well....
I just think that most people here are too spoiled and lazy, and that makes the quality go down tremendously, especially in comparison with the peeps in Euroland, where the quality in certain areas is SO much better.
One example of what I'm talking about, is that there are Euro-ladies who are so damn hott looking, but they have great attitudes and personality to match, and they engage in great action very humbly and exuberantly.
May be hard for the American producers to compete. Private seems to have a good grip on high production values and drop dead gorgeous women. They market their DVDs all over the world with subtitles/dubbing so maybe that effort pays off in the sales end giving them the money to fund the bigger productions instead of the one day and in the can shoots we so often see here. THat's "my opinion/idea"!
will do when i get my brain around it.the fashionistas dvd is an evil angel title & in my opinion beats everything private has ever done. operator made this point by stressing american filming with european girls (which i dont whole-heartily agree with).
Operator, what do you mean when you say "combine this with American style camera-work" ? Maybe I've eaten one too many vindaloos but I'm not at all clear what difference there is in camerawork between the two continents. If you've only seen Private features from Europe I'd recommend trying some other studios who (IMHO) do a better job at capturing heat between the performers as well as even occasionally giving them their head. Easy there tiger.
These threads almost always degenerate into a tug-of-whore between European women lovers and Ameri women lovers. That's the shakes, I guess. My own opinion is that there is probably a greater number and concentration of "beautiful" women in the European porn scene. But ... that doesn't mean they are always worth watching. If you find the girls too staid you might not be watching them perform for the right director. So it might be worth your while looking at European studios other than Private. Marc Dorcel perhaps, or Colmax, or Blue One, or Viv Thomas...
Just a comment.... since many of the larger adult companies will only use a girl for three months (which can equal about 100 films...) and then they clamor for new girls, maybe there simply aren't that many ravashingly (depending on your taste, I guess) gorgeous women in the North American Continent to always have the best of the best that can have some semblance of decent acting talent, actually get into the scene and look drop fucking gorgeous all at once? When supply is no where near demand, you have to start to be a little less choosy.
In my opinion, there are very few "unattractive" women in porn, either Euro or American. I have seen many that might not have conventional (caucasian, blonde, big - blue eyed, high cheekboned) beauty, and I have seen only a handful that I have wondered how they got into a business where physical beauty is the prime objective.
Maybe my question for you should be, What do you consider to be the ultimate beauty type????? My second question would have to be, What movies/talent are you comparing to support this statement?
That's a great idea, as per checking out other European studios.... can I find any of those on Xrentdvd? If not, do you have any suggestions of good places to see other European studios?
As for the rest of the post, I'm not trying to create any "tug of war".. I think there are SOME awesome American women, and SOME awesome European women...
all I am saying is that the GENERAL attitude of European women is much preferred by moi, and many other men that I have heard from.. in addition to this, Private seems to have found ways to make girls look their best, with the makeup, production, props like glitter and makeup and paint, etc....
as for the "American style video work".. what I meant was that I think Private really kills it for me the way they switch scenes every other second.... it's like an awesome build up with everything, and then you can't get your nut off because the damn camera person has ADD. American studios don't seem to have this problem.
On a side note - I have a preference for black women, so don't think that I have anything against American women...
now if they could get the black women to look their top ala Private's style, I think I'd be a mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check out www.xavdream.com for Tip Top Euro titles. These are older movies, but there are some gems in there if you don't require the latest circus acts. Also, the Blu titles are European. I'm not positive but I think they may be repackaging Colmax's stuff. Don't hold me to that.
I understand that Viv Thomas is about to be distributed by a stateside outfit - no details yet.
I'd like to see more makeup, fancy hairstyles, thick lipgloss or lipstick with glitter crystals, body paint......... have these ladies all done up like they're goin to the prom!!!
