Nooooooooooo! Certainly not in England, however, it is rude to describe somebody as 'mixed race' rather than 'half-caste'. To settle this we need a good quality British dictionary
half-caste a person whose parents are from different races especially a Eurasian.
Perhaps you were thinking more of half-breed ? 'A person or animal of mixed breed (usually with one white and one non-white parent; offensive).
You see Bob you must always use a good quality dictionary (in this case the Chambers Twentieth Century Dictionary)

Well I'm in England and I think you have got that completely the wrong way round, colonel: it is "half-caste" that is offensive and "mixed race" that is the standard term (although one sometimes hears "mixed heritage" as well).

half-caste is very old fashioned, in the same way that calling someone coloured is. I wouldn't use them. I think mixed race is ok, but how do you really know? My girl is black, her parents are black, but with her blond braided hair you'd think she was a white girl.

We cannot even agree if she is mixed race, half-caste, mixed heritage, mixed breed, never mind her name! <sigh>
You have gone down the same route as Dr. Evil Walter, and interest quickly wanes if the babes are too difficult to identify. The best formula is always difficult pictures but with well known babes.
It was the same with Dr. Evil's choice 'Sonia Eyes' were it not for my Herculean effort that babe would still be running now Unfortunately I cannot come to the rescue every week.
