I checked the new releases at the Private shop, and found "Faust," a brand new VHS directed by "new Spanish director Jose Ponce." This movie stars Nacho, and he and Tony Ribas appear in the stills. The actresses are almost all women who have previously appeared in Nachoribas releases, and are part of the Nacho camp, including Claudia Jamson, Claudia Claire, Isha, Jazmin, Mandy Bright, Mia Stone, Sophie Evans and Rita Faltoyano. The movie was made in Barcelona.
I can think of 4 men who might have directed this movie, with Nacho at the top of the list. Ribas would also make sense, especially since his wife Sophie is present. Private has already changed the name of Italian director Max Bellochio to "Allesandro del Mar," so I could see them changing Nacho or Ribas to "Jose Ponce." Then again, it is possible that Jose is one of two lesser known guys, Spaniard Max Cortes, or Barcelona-based Dutchman Robby Blake, who is Claudia Claire's husband. Cotes and Blake are both friends of Nacho and Ribas. Sbando has told me that Claudia Claire was recently signed by Private to work on some "documentaries," so perhaps they also signed her hubby to make features. Private has also officially announced its brand new line: "Private Tropical". The name evokes fond memories indeed, at least for us Private aficionados. Only, this time, at the helm we find Italian hack Max Bellocchio (as Alessandro Del Mar), but the series looks "succulent" nonetheless.

The cast is definitely yummy, with Private new contract girl Jodie Moore as the leading lady. Probably they hired Speelie or Gabriel Nine as the casting directors, 'cos the other stars of the movie are lovely Czechs Zsuzsa (of LWCBBMD 14 fame) and Natalka, Russian everywhere-girl Aliza, and Magyar starlets Mandy Bright and Petra Short (some of the guys seem to be Seb Barrio, George and Manuel Ferrara).
Vhs out now, dvd out next Sept.
Also, the first screenshots from Ninn's 2funky4u (is Prince involved in this?) are finally out there. They look SCARY! Remember the "dwarf dream" in Twin Peaks?
Btw, although a pivotal moment in Private history, almost no one remarked the fact that Berth Milton stopped being Private's boss a couple of months ago. More successful than ever (sales-wise), the company seems in great turmoil nonetheless.

Looks like a different movie altogether albeit also entitled "Faust". Cast is different plus international distribution does not mention Private but other companies such as Marc Dorcel and Goldlight, I don't think Private like to "share" distribution rights.
I really don't know - but perhaps Spanish director Narcis Bosch ? He works with Sophie Evans, Max Cortes et al. There are some titles at DVDgo.com - sorry I can't make the link to search results work. And a profile here among other interesting peoples.
I have done some more checking, and I found a news clipping on SophieEvans.com. She indicates that she, her husband Toni Ribas, and their friend Nacho joined forces to make a movie in Spain between August 17 and 25 of 2001, with the working title of "Fausto."
I assume from this that "Jose M. Ponce" actually represents the combined talents of these three, and Sophie's behind the camera abilities shouldn't be disregarded, since she did much of the camera work for Ribas' Exxxplosion. Her website also has a bit about joining Ribas for the production of Leg Love. So it seems that Sophie is an active partner in this new production team, and I hope the results are good!
I wonder if Nacho will continue to make his New Sensations movies? NS listed Blowjob Impossible 4 as forthcoming for quite a while, but now no longer lists it at all. Elegant Angel has told me Ribas should have a new movie out in September. So perhaps Nacho will keep up his separate lines too.
Speelie, I looked at the Sophie Evans site, and if you look down the English news section, there's an entry for "Gothix - Sophie in other film by Jose M. Ponce!" There's a picture of them there. I found Gothix available on Spanish porn company IFG's website.
Gabriel, I missed that Gothix listing, probably because it dates back to 2000, and I was looking at the recent news. Thanks so much for pointing it out, we now can see from the photo that Jose is an actual guy. Sophie still states something about "we produced Faust" which indicates that she and Ribas and Nacho were not simply passive actors.
Gothix is only $21 euros, and is all region, so my DVD Rom will handle it. Based on the cast, I think I'l be ordering it, thanks for the link!
Two "Faust"'s starring Rita Faltoyano coming out in the same year is bound to confuse others besides Jesse: I don't think Salieri appreciates that. (His movie comes out--finally!--in November, I think.) I wonder if Private's new boss is responsible for these innovations. Milton no longer head of Private?! I can hardly believe that (he practically owns it). Turmoil indeed. Other heads have rolled as well, including Richard Arnold's at Private North America. But I think it's strategy on Milton's part to facilitate the secondary listing they've been planning--as soon as the market improves. Their stock values have plummeted lately.
I hope Ninn's computer animations are as good as the one on the Luzz portal (that is impressive!).

Which Berth Milton is the Berth Milton? And is Mr. Prast qualified for the job? He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bates College, but he should be a Master !
In 1990, Private had only four employees who produced just one magazine each that year!
Does anybody know which Carmen features in this "Gothix" movie? I'm Hoping it's the Carmen that use to tag along Oliver Sanchez. That line up does look very good.
Nutty, I can't be 100% certain, but I think it would have to be the Carmen you refer to , the one who replaced Maria de Sanchez as Oliver Sanchez's onscreen partner. I now suspect that the Carmen-Nacho scene of Blowjob Impossible 1 was filmed during the making of Gothix, but I can't be sure until I see that movie, and check if the set is the same.
