Personally, I like Nacho. He does brings a lot of energy to a scene. Sure, he can get a little rough at times (physically), but at least the scene feels passionate. Some of the other rough sex movies I've scene are more on the degrading side. The slapping along with the verbal assault aren't sexy. Example: Tough Love 2. The scene with Audrey Hollander (the only scene I watched) was over the top gratuitous. Nacho knows how to push the right buttons on a girl to get the best out of her.

I am a female and I disagree with the first post. Nacho for me, has changed the whole game in porn. What is the word almost every one of you has repeated when describing him, "Passionate." He is so in his core that he makes every other porn actor seem very disconnected from themselves. I do not care for other actors rough slapping/housing because it just doesn't feel right. Erotica XXX 3 has 5 scenes, and three of them - the ones with Ferrara, Steve Holmes and Ben English - were what I expected from the above trailer and bonus scene. On the other hand, the two scenes with Nacho Vidal were a surprise to me - both included repeated face slaps, and hair pulling, and the his-foot-on-her-head sex position.

That's what was off-putting, that the two Nacho scenes were so out-of-sync with the rest of the movie. It would be like seeing a rough Rocco Animal Trainer scene in the middle of one of his Initiations movie.

I think the real question is why the rough Nacho scenes ended up in a movie that otherwise was straight-forward sex, and not rough at all. This is more a question for the director, than anyone else. I wish that directors would think more of what the viewers expect to see on a DVD, rather than what the performers happen to like doing; it's the viewers after all who are paying to watch the DVD.

If the face slapping/fake choking/ his-foot-on-her-head sex had been absent, I would have rated them the hottest scenes in the film. It's certainly not the case that Nacho is an indifferent performer; he has a lot of charisma. I wish he would just smooth out his rough edges sometimes, just the way Rocco does when he's in a Initiations type scene, or in the scenes he did for Vivid back in the 1990's.

This is probably all a moot point anyway, since Nacho only makes his own films now.
