Often Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are included in that definition as well, and sometimes even some other countries, like Afghanistan.
South Asia. It's a real thing. Look it up.
The 'Middle East' stretches from Egypt in the West to Iran in the East, and from Yemen in the South to Turkey in the North. Again, look it up.

^ depends on the definition some include Indian and Pakistan into the Middle East ,some dont,but from genetic point Indian and Pakistan People are more arabic than asian .
also Turkey is osmanic not arabic like egypt.

^Indian and Pakistanis are not Arab they're south Asian they don't even speak arabic lol. Plus Afghanistan and Iran are Persian not Arab or south asian either.
