As Wolverine said, she's making money making her own porn. It's no coincidence that most american porn stars stopped shooting with big companies. Lansky's sites , for example, shoot many scenes with european girls. It's not profitable shoot with american porn stars regularly.
1-Not sure which company you think can afford to pay a performer 15k to 20k for a single scene let alone a multiple scene contract that would cost them from 45k to to as much as 100k?
2-Not sure which company would be willing to pay a performer that kind of money even if they could afford it. There are fixed rates in porn and while some companies pay more. It's rarely significantly higher than the going rate except for contracted players but there again it's not going to be the kind of money you are talking about.
3-She is a 41 years old woman so not sure if she can or wants to subject herself to the rigorous demands of shooting porn.
4-She is no different from any other performer in that she couldn't have shot mainstream porn since there was a moratorium for about a year and while the industry has started shooting again. The pandemic is still raging in the world and a major problem in California where most of the porn is shot.
5-There are many reason why VMG shoots more European models now and while I agree that it's not as profitable to shoot American performers. VMG needs those American performers to make money and shooting more European content gives them more money to pay those US performers who are the true bread maker of VMG. VMG would quickly go out of business if they mostly shot European models.

Lauren Pixie doesn't even have a listing on iafd and doesn't even look close to 30. And for me low budget studios like pervmom, mylf.... are also no comparison to times when there were mega stars like Lisa Ann, Julia Ann or Francesca Le shooting new scenes every week for the biggest studios.

^what I think I and everyone is laughing at is that you're forgetting about piracy and tube sites. Regardless of how big a star someone is, they're all leveled by the abundance of piracy and people stealing porn.
With or without piracy and tube sites, porn stars are making more money outside the industry. When I said the best day of porn are gone, I agreed with an argument posted above. The best female talens and top directors are out of the industry making their own content or retired.
Unforunately it seems like a lot of performers are going the way of being OF exclusive.
