I'm trying to confirm a story I heard. I was forwarded a story where Nautica who suppossdly was not doing IR anymore was interested in doing a scene with Lex. When the people at Mecernary contacted her she decided to dramatically increase her rate. The thing is that her first IR scene was with LT. Why would Nautica take less money for working with LT. It should be the other way around. I guess the increased rate caused the Mercenary people to walk away. Is this customary for petformers to try to double their rate for working with Lex?

That sounds correct. Nautica stopped doing IR for 2 years. By the way I'm willing to bet this was was enforced by her agent/management company. What's hysterical is that she was already done a few scenes with Mandingo and lets not forget those other classic black petformers like John E Depth, Dominiko, Darren James to name a few of the duds(excluding Mandingo from the dud category). So it made no sense to impose the No More IR policy. I think however you are trying to make sense from the actions of someone who clearly has none. To come back after 2 years of not doing IR and do a scene with LT instead of Lex is just silly.
I think the real issue is that you have management companies still after they have been shown to be wrong still telling girls that IR will kill or shorten your career and girls are still buying in. When you have B level female talent like Tristan Kingsly saying their agent told them not to do IR there is a problem. Again this after doing a scene with Julius Ceaser and I'm sure others. Nautica being a minority herself should know better. I hope that talent stop dealing with these agents and we stop buying from companies that book with these agents.

Nautica's decision was boyfriend based at the time. Try a search going back a couple of years (maybe more) here on ADT for elaboration.

Many female porn talent use the my parents and boyfriend etc. don't want me to do IR as an excuse. In reality it comes from the agent. At least Tristan had the guts to say it and not use the excuses they are given which rarely ring true.

^ Maybe you should do more research into subjects you hurl opinions about. Blaming agents for her cessation of interracial scenes makes precious little sense given her career arc in general. She made what appeared to be a personal decision and said some surprising and crappy things behind it. That she was influenced by someone, there's little doubt, but think suitcase pimp first. I doubt there are many agents advising clients to turn down work of any kind. In fact, they're much more notable for pushing them to do the things they're hesitant about.

I believe that agents tell girls that in order to maximize their earning potential, they should
first do B/G and G/G scenes, then slowly start adding other things like IR, anal, & other things like that.
At the end of the day, the ultimate decision lies with the girl. If she wants to do every type of scene from the start or rather just do
B/G, and just wait until she's more popular to start doing IR & anal, or never do IR & anal at all, it's all in the girl's hands.
