I'm not sure if he's saying no IR AND nothing that would degrade her or if he's saying IR would degrade her. The same goes for Nautica's response - is she referring to IR when she says "that stuff" or does she mean some different "degrading" act? I don't really want to open this can of worms necessarily but it's obvious Nautica has had zero problem doing IR before so you're telling me she'd stop because her new man has a problem with it? And what exactly IS his problem with it? I don't like that comment AT ALL. If she had never done it before, fine. But for a guy to step in and make that decision for her...what's his deal? It's obviously a personal thing and not something he thinks will better her career since she's done it umpteen times already.

Van was making reference to Nautica's boyfriend not being down with her doing "nubians" and the comic book convention scene in Kevin Smith's "Chasing Amy":

Check this shit: You got cracker farmboy Luke Skywalker, Nazi poster boy - blonde hair, blue eyes. And then you've got Darth Vader: the blackest brother in the galaxy. Nubian God.

BANKY:

What's a nubian?

HOOPER:

Shut the fuck up! Now, Vader's a spiritual brother, down with The Force and all that good shit. Then this cracker, Skywalker, gets his hands on a lightsaber and the boy decides he's gonna run the fuckin' universe - gets a whole Klan of whites together - and they go and bust up Vader's 'hood, the Death Star. Now what the fuck do you call that?

BANKY:

Intergalactic Civil War?

HOOPER:

Gentrification! They gon drive out the black element to make the galaxy quote, unquote safe for white folks.

HOW they split is my problem. In the Adultfyi article the new guy boasts:

and then adds:

It is here that Nautica begins to cry - and well she should. She has just shown herself to be a total non-person in my eyes. She has just substantiated the image of female porn performers as unfeeling playthings to be handled and manipulated by men at their whim. And of course HE now decides what she will and won't do and what is or isn't "degrading to her." HA!

What kind of person treats someone like that? What kind of a person allows themselves to be treated in that way?

This dude is basically using the interview to brag about how awesome he is and using Nautica as some sort of prop.

The whole interview is shaming for everyone involved and she has lost all respect I had for her - not that it really matters, LOL!
