I own some 200+ gay porn videotapes and another 75+ porn DVDs. Of those, only 3 are j/o videos (1 from Dirk Yates & 2 from Kristen Bjorn) and only 2 (or 5, depending on how you count) are softcore (I have Arousal & I have the Boy Collection, 1~4 - both purchased at a deep discount, $25 and $40 (for the set of 4 discs), respectively).

This is just my view from my own perspective and based on what I see on the shelves of brick & mortar operations and in the catalogs of online venders. I suspect that my buying habits are not atypical. I have no idea what the female audience for a softcore male stripper video would be.

Anyway, it wouldn't be priced anywhere NEAR what a gay feature DVD is priced at. Evil Angel has yet to venture into the gay market, and this is my first step into hoping that it will happen. As a guess, the DVD would probably sell online for $25-$35.

To elaborate on Nudes a Poppin, it's mostly a stripper competition and show where guys go to watch the girls be naked all day long. The girls bend over and pose, but there is no simulation of sexual activities, not even female masturbation.
There are usually 10-20 males who also compete in events like Male Feature Entertainer, Best Male Body, Male Go-go Dancing, etc.
But like John with the girls, my favorite part of the day is going around to the guys and talking to them, asking them where they're from, and getting some candid posing for the video and still camera. In August, I'm going to have to be much more agressive and less shy with the guys because I get tongue-tied.

My hope is that males (and maybe females too) would rent this DVD and use it to set the mood of an intimate night with their BF. (That's what John and I do with his version of Nudes a Poppin.) Then, when the atmosphere is going strong, it's time to put in harder stuff.

Oh yeah-- yes, they can bend over if they want. Not all of them will (just like not all of the girls there will), but some will. I was too shy to ask in July, but I'll have a beer or two in August to loosen me up a little!

I can give you a little hint about the brazilian market for this kind of movie. In 1991, a company I worked for released a tape of male strips only. No masturbation scenes, only dance and full montys. The sales were very good.

Of course, that was a DECADE ago. Things changed a lot since then.

Would it be all dancing strippers? The whole "dancing" thing doesn't do much for me, but here's what I would love:

One of the things that is always missing from regular porn is guys stripping. If they start the scene wearing any clothes at all, somehow, it usually just disappers at some point.

I LOVE to see guys slowly get undressed for the camera. Get a hunky guy in a three piece suit to slowly strip down, and make sure he isn't wearing any goofy underwear, like a gstring or something. It's much hotter when they wear normal underwear (like tighty whities or boxer briefs)... it makes the guys seem more real. Yes, it's all to music. None of the stuff on stage would be a "scene" where I could control what's going on. It's all Chippendales shows type things. I can control a little bit with some of the candid shots of the guys as they're just standing around. I can ask them to flex for me and tease for the camera.
Unfortunately, for some reason, professional male strippers all seem to have the notion that they have to wear g-strings.

I have been searching for years for a DVD of male go-go dancing. I work as a go-go dancer in nightclubs in the UK but I'm not very good - I don't have the "moves" I see other dancers doing and I've been trying for ages to find someone or something from which I can learn them.

For years now I've been looking for a DVD with moves I can copy (the DVD format is easier to use than VHS for rewinding and slow motion because the VHS tape will stretch and become unplayable after a while).

So I, for one, would love the DVD you're offering. I also think that this would make a good mood-dvd for parties etc that can play in the background.

I used to have a tape I really liked called Allfish (there was also boyfish and girlfish) which had nude girls and boys swimming underwater in a huge water tank set up with a sort of drowned greek city diorama all set to to a relaxing soundtrack. The company that made it, Dangerous to Know, doesn't seem to exist anymore which is a shame as I'd love a copy on DVD.

Please let me know if you do decide to release a male go-go dancing disk - I want a copy!
