I've always been curious about the old "blue movies" that came before the XXX movies of the late 60s. There are a number of vintage erotica series available on BushDVD. I already tried one called "Linda Robert's Vintage Porn Vol.1" and was very disappointed. The video quality of all but one or two of the short films was absolutely horrible, and it seemed that a lot was cut out. I realize these are made from old 8mm films and the quality isn't going to be great, but I'd at least like something where the people don't look like washed out moving blobs! So I'd appreciate it if somebody in the know could suggest a good series portraying old-time erotica of the 40s, 50s, and earlier.

Hello sf3006,

You should check out the "Vintage Erotica" series put out by Cult Epics. Do a search for reviews on your favorite search engine, you may run into the same issues of picture quality depending on which volume [by decade] you choose. I will say this, if the quality is bad it has nothing to do with lack of effort on Cult Epics part, they seem to take great care in the look of their releases. As anyone who has seen their version of Tinto Brass' "All Ladies Do It [Cosi Fan Tutte]" can surely attest....
