Teri Weigel

If anyone has ever visited men's clubs, waiting to see feature dancers, they know the drill--just like the military, "hurry up and wait."
But the FORT WORTH GENTLEMAN'S CLUB, where Teri Weigel was featured Thursday night, broke ALL the rules--to elaborate.
Knowing that Teri wouldn't perform on stage till fairly late, giving patrons PLENTY of time to spend drink money, I didn't pull into the valet station until a little after 8pm--the only way you can drive to the club's parking lot, btw and an instant "ripoff" sign to me.
As the attendant came to the car, I asked when the feature would perform, and was told 9pm "sharp."
That was OK with me, and paid the $10 cover (also, about right) to enter the club.
Inside the ornate setting, performing on several stages, to a very small crowd (about 25, counting employees) were four "5's" and one "7."
This is about what one can expect on a week night whenever a club features, since most of the 8's and 9's, knowing where the money will fall, "take off."
Sitting down at a table and ordering a Lite beer, I asked the waitress, when Teri would appear, and was told her first show would be at 10---a full hour's difference from the valet's--NOT GOOD!
A bit angry now, I moved to the bar and watched the Bears preseason game, while sipping my beer "slowly."
Three brews later, and after politely rejecting buying drinks for two "5's and the "7," it was nearing 10pm and when I asked one of the managers about Teri's appearance time, was told "a few minutes now, she's in make-up getting her hair done."
FINALLY, I thought and as I observed Teri's husband and assistant, a slight built dark-haired man, begin to set up strobe lights, started to "squirm" a bit in anticipation.
THEN, Teri, dressed in a silver and black outfit, came out of the dressing room to talk to the club manager (I guess) and I was close enough to hear her say "no money," in obvious reference to the small crowd. which had now "swelled" to about 35 people, including employees.
Whereupon, Teri vanished back into the dressing room with her husband, and the club's announcer, who had been prepping the crowd for Teri, the past three hours, called out "shot drink" specials.
NOW (two "slow" beers later and thankfully, no more "pushy" drink requests), its 11:15 and the crowd is slightly larger as Teri, still dressed in silver and black, sits down at a table just in front of mine.
Naturally, I am poised to "strike" but then her husband, along with a man (maybe the owner) wearing shorts, a wrinkled Hawaiian shirt and a straw hat) brings out two PLATES of food and a dish of stuffed peppers.
It should be mentioned here, that at NO time did the announcer, who had been "hawking" Teri's impending stage appearance for almost FOUR hours, EVER announce any change of plans re her show.
It should also be noted, I was close enough to see Teri, while she and her husband were "chowing down," and easily noticed that something (probably multiple BOTOX" injections), has considerably "bloated" her lips and what was ONCE a very attractive face, so I'm reversing my "thumbs up" evaluation of the lady---see another thread.
Glancing at my watch, it was now almost midnight and spying another "5" heading my way, I got up to leave the FORT WORTH GENTLEMEN"S CLUB in complete disgust--vowing NEVER to return.
I took one last glance at Teri, as her husband, who couldn't have weighed over 125 pounds, "slurped" loudly on his stuffed pepper, and as I approached the exit, heard the announcer say, "folks, what you've all been waiting for, the fabulous Teri Weigel, is less than an HOUR away!"
