Here are some more suggestions:
1) Ask a family member, or a friend, or a co-worker to introduce you to a girl they know.
2) Sign up with a dating service. Online dating service is easy to join and you will be able to at least chat/email with girls who are looking for someone.
3) Pick your favorite activities or hobbies and find a club to join. Less pressure to find a girl, but also depending on the type of activities/hobbies you pick, there may not be any eligible girls.
These are my suggestions, take them with a grain of salt since I'm a single 40-something guy without much experience in this area too.
