Hi all, This is Jon one of the owners of DVD Advantage I just thought I would give everyone an update as to what is comming soon at DVD Advantage.

1. Their will be a seperate Gay site devoted to our Gay customers.

2. We will be utilizing partial frames. (This will stop the entire page from loading just to view a title.)

3. Will be have a DVD Ratings & Reviews. (Reviewers will be needed)

4. We will have a complete line of Adult Toys.

5. Improved online tracking of orders and promotional credits. (HINT HINT )

6. Advanced search features. (Search by Star names, descriptions ect.)

7. "Wish List" shopping cart.

Their are several other features that I am saving as a surprise.

All of us at DVD Advantage would like to thank you for your support.

Sounds like you're really moving up, great to hear. I have ordered 3 times already. Great service. No complaints.

Reviewers will be needed

Now this is something that sounds good. But since I do reviews here on ADT, that may not be so good. Oh well.

Anyway thank you for the update.

Jon-the wish list will be great. I've often meant to ask you guys about this. I hope you make it easy to move wish list items to the shopping cart & make sure titles are in alpha order (believe it or not-some stores do not). Also, adding the back cover would be VERY helpful. Thanks, (a regular customer).

Thanks for your comments. Most of the ideas we get come from our customers.

I did forget to mention you will be able to sort your search results by Studio, title, director ect.

You will also be able to control the number of items appearing on a page listing. (This way you don't have to move between a large number pages of a large studio like Vivid, Sunshine ect.)

We will also make it easier for people to redeem Kickback coupons and use one of our discount coupons at the same time. (Enter multible coupons at checkout)

Thanks again

I once tried to redeem Kickbacks with a coupon, but didn't work.

If you could make that possible, now that would be GREAT!

Mike,
For the time being, when you redeem a kickback at DVD Advantage, after you receive the order confirmation, forward it to Jon. Tell him that you placed the order using a kickback and therefore were unable to enter the promotion code (mention whatever the promotion code happens to be at that time). Jon will apply a credit to your credit card for the appropriate amount.

Jon,
Those sound like some very helpful improvements. I aslo like Menace's suggestion for adding an image of the back cover.

Thanx for the info, Jon. Sounds like DVD Advantage is quickly becoming another great online store to buy our precious porn in addition to all others featured here at ADT. You'll be hearing from me soon!

Thanks Bill, but it's no big deal, I just tried to enter two codes, one from kickbacks and one of the promotional codes, in the same box. Just to see if it would work...

It didn't work, but I was happy with the orders, so it's not like I felt cheated. I will definitely be making some more future purchases from DVD Advantage.

I picked up several titles that were on sale for very nice prices.

Keep up the good work.

I disagree, depending on your order size, an additional 8-20% off (based on the order value Before applying the kickback credit) is a big deal.

How can you go wrong redeeming kickback credits at this place:

- They have great prices to begin with.
- They add an additionl 50% to the value of your kickback amount.
- They apply coupon credit against the original order value (rather than against the reduced value after applying the kickback, as some other stores do)

With regards to delivery costs for international buyers, is DVdadvantage looking at reducing costs, as the current charge puts off a lot of potential buyers like myself from ordering discs.

Sorry but the answer is no. We use UPS Worldwide International Service. We charge $30.00 for 17 dvd's (Equals 1lbs.) Our face value charge from UPS is about $48.00 You can look that up on their web site.

The main reason we use them (And we have tried them all (USPS, Private couriers) is the simple fact that they deliver the packages on a timely basis and the packages are FULLY TRACKABLE. Unlike usps that simply states "Shipped to destination Country" Also UPS packages are insured.

We were losing over 30% of all international packages. Remember you as a customer wants your merchandise no what what happens. If a package is lost in shipping you must still receive your merchandise or you want your money back. (I would want the same thing.)

It was costing thousands of dollars per month to make good on lost shipments.

Thats about it. It simply comes down to we want our customers to receive their DVD's in a timely fashion.

Thanks
Jon

P.S. We have decided to include LARGE HIGH DETAIL FRONT & BACK Covers on the new site. (It will take us awhile to catch up) we only have about 11,000 titles on our site now.

To Jon,
It would be nice for you to post the UPS S/H costs in the U.S. Shipping section of your site for mail-in customers so they don't have to figure out what the cost is. Instead of saying

"United States
All domestic orders will be shipped via UPS. Freight charges are actual UPS charges. We do not charge a handling fee."

Post a chart showing the U.S. UPS S/H charges. Before dvd advantage began using UPS it was just priority mail for $5 flat rate.

You can very easily determine the cost of shipping by simply adding the items you wish to purchase to your shopping cart, then enter in your shiiping information. Then continue to the second check-out page. The cost of the various shipping options will be displayed.

Complete instructions can be found on the web site at: http://www.dvdadvantage.com/HowToOrder.asp

Thanks
Jon
