A few questions for you: 1) Can you have this girl do scenes with guys she is comfortable with and attracted to? Then kinda get out of the way a little bit and just let scenes happen? Would be great if Anabloic would go outside of their usual stable of mostly not-so-attractive dudes. Let the girls pick who they work with out of a bigger, better roster. 2) On the editing: Why-in this day and age of DVDs with chapters to skip around in etc-would an editor or director want to cut out portions of scenes? If somebody gets bored with a part of a scene or just likes quickly moving through it, they can do so very easily by hitting next or using fast forward. But, so often, I find a scene getting hot and I'm into it and then there is a cut to something else. This mostly just screws up the scene, IMO. I'd prefer every scene to be shot with as close to no cuts as possible. If I rewatch the scene, sure I will skip around. But, I like having a full, uniterrupted scenes to later skip around at my discretion. (Of course, this means the director can't be yelling cut all the time and demanding position changes. I don't mind telling them what positions to do ahead of time, but after that just let them transition naturally.) Am I in the minority in what I would like to see? Are the factors that make the above unlikely? It has been faily rare in porn to see that approach taken. Why?

Thanks for the feed back. If you are interested in what I do go to www.iamivan.com there are plenty of trailers from my work at Anabolic and Evolution/Extreme. About shooting and editing. We often let girls choose the guys, schedule permitting of course. And the guys we use the girls seem to love on and off camera. The way I shoot is a few different ways depending on the series or the individual girl. I take into consideration the girl's looks, personality and sexuality the try to use that. Some girls that are fun I do fun stuff with, other I shoot massive amount of music video style teases and some just have a great story, so I interview them in a fun unique way. When it comes to sex, we shoot without any cuts. Some scenes go straight 20 minutes without a cut all the way until the guy cums and we are done. I don't shoot over 20 minutes of sex unless the performers are really into each other then I let them go as long as they want. I don't step in to direct during the scene. I let them know before hand what I need and then let them flow. Sometimes a scene requires directing, so I would first physically direct, then verbally then cut only if they are not giving me what I need. But with that having certain performers is a necessity. Good performers make the scene hot and flowing. About the editing, there are various reasons for cuts during the scene. When I shoot, I shoot for the edit. And when I edit I try to limit cuts. In my scenes you will see maybe 3 or 4 edits in the entire scene. Sometime we get no cuts or as little as one. When you see cuts during the scene it could be due to performers needing a break, camera bumps or just bad camera work which a lot times I have seen as an issue, lighting, or just simply to make the scene flow. I agree with you, that when there is an edit I wonder too what did I just miss, what happened when the camera cut?
