I just saw these yesterday, I'm pretty excited about them. I'm a big fan of Doris Wishman, Roberta Findlay and R.D. Steckler. Unfortunately I'm currently too broke to check them out, but I'm really curious about how they are if anyone gets a look at them.
Same with me. My main concern (edit/censorship issues are really far behind) is the picture quality : looking at some caps on the back covers makes me wonder....
Yeah, for a while there was a subgenre of exploitation called 'Nazisploitation' after Ilsa: She-Wolf of the SS and Tinto Brass' Salon Kitty came out. The selling points were to be as grossly exploitative as possible, as with the Women In Prison and 'Nunsploitation' genres. Naturally it crossed over into XXX too.
Nazi Sexperiments was an older comp from ABA, I didn't buy it. Yes, porn produced his own versions of the Nazisploitation, which i believe was a strictly Italian subgenre of the Exploitation era (70's).
By the way, the only porn movie I know that is Nazi-related is Blue Ice, starring Jacqueline Lorians and Helga Sven.
Something Weird currently offers HITLER'S HARLOT and NAZI SEX EXPERIMENTS (which might have been directed by Ray Dennis Steckler). Gail Palmer's PRISONER OF PARADISE was also Nazi-themed, with John Holmes and Seka (and actually directed by Bob Chinn).
It should also be noted that the Roberta Findlay disc is unauthorized; Roberta still owns both A WOMAN'S TORMENT and THE TIFFANY MINX, as far as I know, and was trying to get them released properly on DVD. So if you'd like to see nice clean versions of these with her involvement, I would ask people to avoid that particular disc. Supporting illegal copies of films only hurts sales of legitimate versions in the future.
It looks like they just released a bunch more of these: Damiano, Fred Lincoln, DeRenzy, and more Zebedy Colt, Roberta Findlay, Steckler, etc. There's also some pretty cool looking new regular feature discs including Femmes DeSade, Her Name Was Lisa and Pretty Peaches...
Pretty Peaches? The original Pretty Peaches? I thought all copies of that were burnt/destroyed/tucked away in the vault with missing Doctor Who episides...
Alex deRenzy volume 2 has Babyface on it as well. I'm not sure of the quality, I'm going to wait and see if they option these before I purchase straight from them.
